Welcome one & all to DC SocialPulse and to Episode 10 of Are You The One? as the quest for 20 men & women to find love and share in the biggest prize in MTV's history reaches its climax in the finale of what has been a successful first season of this social experiment that's become my guilty pleasure.
Back on EP9, the group dressed in white and partied on the beach, while their resident comedian, John, had to come to quips with Jacy & Scali becoming close. We also saw them get down and dirty on the sand as well, along with scuba diving and the Brooklynite seeing a turtle. And the strategy of them banding together with the money in their sights saw more dividends with a 3rd perfect match in the truth booth and one more in the matchup, putting them within two steps of the ultimate goal.
This week, with the group on the edge of glory, they will try to figure out how to use their last chances to find their match and cash that million. We'll also see Jacy confront her feelings for Scali and for John as the rest of the house will try to get over that last hurdle of solving the last love triangle, along with a rather revealing challenge. And of course, will the group's strategy of banding together and switching up the last two pairs that aren't perfect matches in the next-to-last matchup pay off?
In addition, this extended edition of the 'Pulse will also feature tweets from the marathon of the show that aired prior to the finale, as well as the weekend before & the day after. Then after that, I'll offer my thoughts on the season in general, the move that eventually determined the outcome and a thank you note to the cast. First...
