DC ExtraTime: Holiday Babies, an Engagement, and a Quarantined Gender Reveal

The year that is thankfully in the past now may not have been the best of years... but not everything about 2020 has been on the negative side of things. Last year saw so many of your favorites from the beat we cover the most on here have those kinds of good moments that will make us smile and give us a respite from the turmoil of what we had to go through for 366 days, plus a week too.

Besides the countless number of appearances on other TV shows, memorable moments on TV or anything else of note, 2020 saw a number of your favorites from the world of MTV Reality have any of these following items: give birth to a new baby, celebrate the impending arrival of their new kid, or have another one of those coming-of-age moments for any adult: getting engaged. This has no doubt kept TV's most-talked about reality programming in the forefront in the past year, as growing appreciation from the media, the added promotion of being part of the expanded ViacomCBS company, and select seasons & shows being made available on both Netflix & CBS All Access has put it in the spotlight.

And during an unusual holiday period where most of us had to do without our traditions of having big family gatherings on Christmas or New Year's and had to revert to online shopping to avoid the crowds, the 2020 holiday season offered four members of Team MTV a more than enjoyable winter break... and they got to celebrate the next chapters in their lives. From a past Challenge champ to the franchise's representative in the Teen Mom universe, the holidays of this winter were indeed merry to them.
