Hi, hello, what's up and welcome to DCBLOG's coverage of The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 and SocialPulse. Last summer while many of us were getting wet with ice buckets and enjoying the World Cup, 26 people came to Panama to film a Challenge that, when it would finally air in the new year, would be for more significant reasons than for it being just your friendly competition. Now, after enduring the sorrow of tragically losing two of its competitors over the span of 13 days in the lead-up to the season, and then the season itself with everything we love about the so-called "fifth major sport," we are at the conclusion of an eventful Challenge season in so many ways.
On Episode 11 last week. we saw the fallout of Sarah's game-changing vote to put in Johnny Bananas and Nany in the last Dome spread like wildfire all the way across the Atlantic in Norway, site of that last elimination and the final. But Nia made an unfortunate mistake in lashing out on Jordan so severely, it cost her a chance to compete in the last Dome. Instead, Theresa was given a last-minute call to replace her, and that led T.Time and Leroy to an elimination win to set up the final battle between them, Sarah & Jordan, and Jay & Jenna.
This week, of course, is the season finale as those three teams will set off to complete the two-day final in Norway, with $350,000 in prize money awaiting them at the end. But before they reach the climb to the summit of Mount Slogen, brutal obstacles await them, and it may become too much for one of those teams to handle. And who will it be when it's all over -- an 8-season veteran & a cocky Portlander, a last-minute newly-formed team, or a rookie surprise? Plus, we also have the hilarity of the always entertaining Clip Show with pranks, animals, dresses and birthday suits; and the Reunion as well, recapping the season's biggest moments with host Zuri Hall.
Along with all the Action, Reaction and Interaction from the Finale, find out which section of Team MTV had a reunion of sorts in a town that now calls some of its season cast home.
