With only a few teams left in the game itself, often tensions will boil over with money at stake, and last week was no exception. A night of debauchery ensued not with the girls as is often the case, but with the guys. And just as it was on Floribama Shore, it was small things that turned big: leftover pasta led Cory to go all in on Tony, and it cost him and Devin their spot in the game, but not before the feud between Big D and Bananas raged on with a low blow by the champ.

Meanwhile, rumors and gossip spurs on one team when they find themselves as the house target, while the latest Purge challenge will help determine who is able to handle the stretch run that awaits.

Well, we mentioned the word momentum in the opening to this, and it seems that the win in the most recent redemption challenge has ignited Paulie & Natalie as they keep their power team status for another week, while Shane & Nelson finished last in that Purge challenge to automatically go into this coming week's elimination. And what can you say about Sylvia? When you have a solid elimination record as she has with a 5-1 mark and her only defeat coming at the hands of fellow beast in the nighttime battles, Jenna, then you have a pretty good resume going... and her taking out Tony and Bananas adds them to a list of those she's taken out which also includes fellow finalists Tori and Kailah, and of course what we saw with her and Melissa. Things are getting good here.
Now, because of my new schedule and other matters, I haven't yet posted the Pulse of last week's episode of Are You The One? Season 7... that will change come tomorrow as a backtracked post on it comes your way here as our friends look to do what last fall's cast got to do: pull out a miracle win as the guy who some say looks almost like Dustin from RW Back to Vegas thinks of giving one of his crushes a second chance. Also, we'll also let you in on why the Season of Fate isn't the first time that AYTO host Terrence J. and one of this year's suitors got to share the same stage, more on that in the latest installment of Before They Were MTV Stars to come then, along with a selection of this year's Halloween costumes from the MTV family.
Meanwhile, as we go from Halloween to the edge of the winter holiday season - as evidenced by snow in the Rocky Mountains this week, DCBLOG will ultimately post our long-promised Reality Debrief covering 2017-18's slate and a review of the fall shows to follow that too. We're looking for a fan of The Challenge to join me and Andrew Kirk to discuss Final Reckoning and offer thoughts on the competitors and other matters once this trilogy comes to an end.
