Hello friends and welcome to the last week of March... a year ago at this time, we were in the early stages of what seemed to be a never-ending deluge of bad luck, but do count your blessings if you're lucky to be alive as we wrap the first quarter of 2021. And if you're lucky to be following MTV Reality as much as we are here, we're on the verge of some marvelous stuff to come in the next few months. But before that, we have the business at hand of the serious stuff starting up south of the Arctic Circle.
Also there, the daddy got to switch up the team order again and where now, CT and Big T are back together. And this week, they find themselves with a full plate on their desk: him having to deal with an arrogant sophomore while at the fun of an 80's dance party, the other trying to take off a rather unwanted distinction this late of the game of not being eligible as of yet to go for the money. And if that is not enough, one of them will also have just as terrifying a task as anyone will have in their lives: going for a dive from 15,000 feet above the ground to solve a puzzle as the agents inch closer to the final.

Complaining about it being on Paramount+ is like defending Blockbuster in 2010. Everything is gonna be streamed soon. Fighting it will put you on the wrong side of history. My opinion is it should be called: The Challenge: Masters. In single-man sport this is the category title for dominant, mature, & seasoned athletes. That said, All Stars is rad too. Who fucking cares if they’re not all champs. They’re all champs at being tv stars you fools. I cut the cable chord 2 months ago. I bought 4 streaming services, including Paramount+, including one that gets me all cable channels. The total bill is less than I was paying for cable. This is why I’m not on All Stars, I had too much good shit to watch.

Well Brian Cohen - aka Mr. Bus Drivers Route, you are probably right on in that analogy: three years ago after Virginia got beaten up by UMBC and title droughts ended for two groups of long-suffering fans, he asked if Leroy can win a Challenge title? Well, after another dominating win with Kaycee this week, we're on our way to possibly Mr. Lean Body going out a winner. And just before this episode aired, I got to stream the first episode of Shipwrecked on Hulu featuring Big T, and seems my luck got to work as she won her first elimination & that skull. Feels that War of the Worlds 2 feels so long ago in how she has evolved from that to possibly following in Rogan, Bananas and Cara from being first eliminated to being crowned champion.
But before Wednesday's episode, she took to social media to heartbreakingly announce that she had suffered a miscarriage after first noticing no movement in her stomach at the four-month stage of her second trimester. Mel wrote in part, "We had plans for her. We are devastated. We are suffering. She would've had a beautiful life with people who loved her and took care of her. None of this is fair. ... She will always be loved and remembered fondly... never forgotten. Mommy and Daddy love you."
As we feature her note in full below as well as the condolence messages she's received from Challenge Nation following this heartbreaking news, our thoughts go out to Mel, Matt and their family during this awful time... we know you will bounce back and be the great mom you are to young Camden.
