The past few months, the Bam have spent their autumn in the college town of Athens, Georgia outside of the University of Georgia... and if their winter & early spring was an eventful trip out west, then their partial homecoming near their Floridian digs has felt a bit normal -- we just miss those famous bar hops. But nothing is more enjoyable in this part of the Shore world then when those families come knocking on the door... and last we were with the Bam the latest instance of family get-togethers as only this bunch know how to do began, and in addition to Codi's, Aimee's and Candace's families coming by, Gus' sister Hannah made her long-awaited visit after the spat she had with Candace earlier this year, and after the playboy dodged a bullet with having two ladies with the same name flirt with him.
Throughout our five years spending time with the Bam, they've gotten to not only do these gatherings, but also celebrate birthdays, the Fourth of July and spring break. And as they are about to welcome something that their Jersey counterparts have done a lot the past dozen years, the focus turns to marking the first of the two biggest things to happen to Nilsa: becoming a mom to her new kid Grey before she says "I do" to Gus 2.0. And as we come back to town, the families are marking the impending arrival of the first Floribama baby with something the youngsters have never experienced before in their adult lives: a baby shower. But, there is also an interesting twist to all of that: not only do they have to try to not get hungover the day before, but also to make sure that it is also an alcohol-free baby shower... and that in itself might be an interesting challenge.

Well it indeed was, Mrs. Mommy... and considering the odds that were placed against them when they woke up, it's safe to say the Bam and the parents did a good job of getting over that hangover to fete our new mom and now wife to Gus 2.0. Despite staying only a short time after an early trip in & out of the Truth Booth as an early perfect match, Maria Elizondo emerged as the star of Season 7 of Are You The One?, and now two lovebirds who she lived with on that 2018 summer of love have just made their 3-year relationship official with a ring to it. Just after one of the first major music festivals to take place during this pandemic, the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, a sister event in Orlando, Florida gave reason for Cali Trepp and Tomas Buenos to not only enjoy one of the many festivals put on by the folks who put on one of American music's biggest live events, but also do something much more too.
When they were outside the venue where EDC Orlando takes place each year, longtime baseball spring training ballpark Tinker Field adjacent to Camping World Stadium, something that was inevitable when they first met in 2018 finally took place: Tomas got down on a knee, popped out an engagement ring and asked the magic question... and Cali replied "yes." And AYTO now has its latest newly engaged couple joining Season 6 "almost" perfect match Uche & Clinton and Season 1's Amber & Ethan.
The newly engaged Cali wrote below on Instagram, "I SAID YES 💍💍💍💍 Apparently I forgot what 50 degree weather felt like because I put on every piece of clothing I could find…. AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. I had no idea what was going on, forgot to say yes…. I just was in so much shock!!! It was so heartwarming to have our friends there for this moment and even the crowd around us cheering! @edc_orlando was unforgettable. Love you ever @tombuenos." And, we say congrats to them.
Just before we bring you the 'Pulse of the Floribama season 4 finale, there's both a long-anticipated elimination rematch and a rather shocking moment on The Challenge All-Stars which we'll have for you here shortly, and that trip to Thanksgiving with Tai Verdes (it was to have been posted this week, but other things came about instead). Also this week along with the DSAL finale, the $1 million final kicked off on Spies, Lies & Allies, but as it is once again a two-part episode and in the spirit of continuity, we'll bringing you that last act on here next week instead.
On the topic of that delay above, I've also begun editing the first set of what will be the can't miss spectacle of the holiday season: the DC VEGAS XI vlogs. The first two videos of this year's series are already deemed "in the can" and ready to be released... and they'll premiere two weeks from now on the long Christmas weekend -- in fact on Thursday, December 23rd just as Santa & the reindeer begins their journey. For now, we'll see you here soon as we continue.
