Inside MTV Reality: The Siesta Key WRAP - Openings, Crashes & Meetings

Welcome back... our winter's escape from the madness & imperfectness of our world in the sultry, summertime drama of Siesta Key is wrapping up for now at least... perhaps there's more to come later this year if the social proof has its way -- including the biggest bombshell of all to rock the biggest pop stars in this small town of 6,500. But for now, our third Summer in the Key (and our Florida season on here) is in its late afternoon glow as we now bring you part 2 of a special Double Shot.

When we were last in Central Florida earlier tonight, Alex and most of the group made their way up to Southern Georgia to celebrate the 4th of July at the parents' retreat of his girlfriend Alyssa. And while the Floribama Shore crew's activities became a wild festival in itself, their Siesta neighbors' wish to have the drama stay back home backfired when the king bringing up Chloe's allegiance to Juliette saw them have a big blowup. And Ish returned to town to ask Madisson if she can move in with him in LA... but it ended with them breaking up after her family expressed some skepticism.

As we return to town, Juliette's job at neighborhood boutique Blend is about to throw its grand opening bash... but will the shadow of her old and new exes rain over her parade? And will a snap, emergency meeting of the original group around the campfire try to resolve things and bring the group back together out before summer wraps up? The answers to those questions are ahead.


 THINGS TO KNOW 
EPISODE 10

● REBELLA AND HEARTBREAK: As hour #2 begins, Robby hosts his own belated 4th of July party at his house, and Juliette, Kelsey, Brandon & Garrett join him there for the social gathering including many sights of Kabobs. But with her new gig preparing for its official opening in a few days, she invites Robby to come to it as they bury the hatchet to the point that they can be comfortable around each other and not go crazy... that is if her ex is still in the picture.
   She and Kelsey have gotten to know not just Robby but also those who work for Rebella, including right-hand man Jake. He got to know Kels quite a bit on their journeys, and they've been going fine for them to the point where he calls his relationship "so easy." But then, Jake's dad - who according to his IG battled cancer for 15 years & had over 40 surgeries, finally lost his battle. Visibly devastated, he returns home to be with his family as he & Kelsey break things off amicably with her support.

● CRASH AT THE BLEND: Jules was the only notable no-show to either of the group's 4th of July outings owning to her working at her job, fashion store Blend in the Southside Village neighborhood of Sarasota on that holiday. The small business is preparing to officially open its doors as the ladies enjoy a moment with the wine when the store's sign goes up outside the building.
   Late in hour #1, Alex and Alyssa had a chat by the porch where they decided to become official in the aftermath of his blowup with Chloe. Here, he decides to roll up and crash the pre-opening of his ex's new business by taking Jules off for a moment and they take a seat at a nearby restaurant. She tells him to let go of the past while he just can't seem to let go himself of seeing her with Robby, and she lets him know that, "I don't know you anymore"... and the drama with them rolls on & on.

● AWKWARD OPENING: That night, Blend Fashion House officially opens its doors with a nighttime gala where everyone in the clique and their assorted friends (i.e. Daily Joe, JJ, etc.) is invited including Robby donning a white jacket. There is plenty of the champagne going around the shop, and there's even a moment where Garrett takes pictures of ex Kelsey in a harbinger of what will await us in Nashville in the double season finale (wink wink).
   But unfortunately, Alex also decides to come to the party uninvited and he brings along Alyssa as well... and upon him walking into Blend he decides to flick Robby in the ear and on the jaw line as if they're kids in junior high. The Bachelor assures those that he's alright and because Alex "has a crush on him," as if we're getting a preview of what Bananas and Wes will have this time around on Total Madness. And like what we might see next month on The Challenge, tensions build to where Alex yells at Robby and threatening to turn this into another Floribama-like fight - which it doesn't. Jules is so upset about her two exes getting into it that she decides to bolt early as does the perpetrator.

● CAMPFIRE INTERVENTION: After what happened there and all that's gone down all summer, while sitting with Madisson having coffee Chloe decides to call the whole group together by texting them to come for a campfire meeting to an undisclosed location to work things out. They, Brandon, Garrett, Jules, Kelsey, Amanda and Alex (as well as one we've not seen all season in Pauly) all gather to have champagne and smores (Makes you think we should fast forward to summer, right?).
   Around the campfire, Chloe thanks everyone for coming in doing what she can to unite the group again in the midst of all the drama... and Madi thanks them for being there during her breakup with Ish. While she expresses her love for everyone in the clique, Chloe acknowledges that, "The summer has been a mess," and that she's disappointed to Alex & Jules for what's happened with them lately. What happens next is for you to see below... and afterwards #JALEX have a moment where she tells him that she misses him a lot, and he says, "I probably would jump in front of a bullet for you... this is the worst thing I've gone through in my life." And yes, it goes on and on...

Yeah indeed BG on that last tweet, and this is just the first of TWO Double Shots. Tuesday is the two-hour season finale, which we will once again split our recaps into two parts when we do this again next weekend. This will include the group traveling up to Nashville, which we were there not long ago when the Floribama girls went there with Mattie to where she tends bar, and where Nilsa grieved the death over a year ago of her Navy friend... ExtraTime featured the Siesta group's visit to Music City here last year when filming of Season 3 was taking place.
   But as most of you know by now, last Tuesday the Nashville area was struck by an early morning tornado across north of downtown Nashville during a powerful storm system in Middle Tennessee. The storm claimed the lives of least twenty-five people, many thousands found themselves in the dark without power, and countless lives have been changed by houses and buildings being swept away in the twister in the suburbs of North & East Nashville, Germantown and Donelson. More on how you can help will be up in next week's WRAP.
