Last week in Spain, the competitors were given a wakeup call when TJ Lavin laid two twists on them in the Troika having power over the game each week, and those who get sent into elimination having to plead their case at a Inquisition dinner before their choice is given. Kyle found himself in a love triangle with Marie and Cara Maria, while he also finds himself right in the heart of the game after he finishes with Brad and Bananas in that Troika and has to help two champions pick who to put into the Ring.
In a reprise of what happened on Dirty 30, Cory and Nelson are matched up in the season's first elimination, and this week they will battle to see who stays and goes. Meanwhile, another romance that's blossomed this early on sees the girl in it having to balance that with trying to prove that she can hang with everyone else. For another newcomer used to love British style, she finds comfort in someone fresh off a romance also as her vendetta questions her motives. And there's some oncoming traffic for this week's challenge taking place above water that incorporates a part of millennial life.

So, we saw the big Grenade twist being unleashed on the players after what was a forgettable first elimination on Vendettas, plus we also saw a British import being added to those Nicole has gotten to hook up with in the house. And Melissa is the one who is going into elimination after what we saw in the week's challenge after Kam, Alicia and Natalie are put into the ringer, and only one of them will meet her. RIVER, JAY & GUS
Briefly, it was three years ago tomorrow that viewers of Real World Ex-Plosion saw Bronx native Jay had his life change considerably when he received the heartbreaking news from back home that his mom had died after unsuccessful surgery just a week or so after he left for San Francisco. We offered a look back at that moment in an ExtraTime during Exes 2, and that offers this link to what he and a friend of this site have ahead.We have featured on here a few times friend River Cebellos, who met up with Jay at after shows for his season and was also featured in the In-Depth on Yellowcard's guest spot on The Inferno before the band became stars. During filming of those, Jay asked River, or Eric back then, to help out on his Craze Watches line, for which a cut of proceeds from watch sales goes to cancer foundations and charities, and for which this blogger got his own Craze Watch last summer.
Like me, River was entertained this winter by Floribama Shore and became big fans of Gus, one of those eight who made our Mondays more easy to take by what we saw there in Panama City Beach. And River and Jay reached their hand out to Gus to help spread the word of Craze Watches and now he's the latest to join the cause.
