BY DC CUEVA
Hey there everyone, welcome to the weekend. We are nearly a month into the new year of 2019, and already there's been plenty going down in the never-ending world of wonder known as MTV Reality. This week is jam-packed: the Season 2 premiere of the sultry Siesta Key with an explosive birthday brawl and plenty of revelations, while a new VIP is joining Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club. There's also a lot of fighting on Ex On The Beach, while a girl group is taking the stage on Floribama Shore. We'll be covering all of those in the coming days here as we're about to hit an ultra-busy part of this first quarter of our busiest year ever of DCBLOG going Inside MTV Reality. That includes there's the headline act of this winter... to us and to most of you reading this on a winter's late Friday night.
We may be in between last week's epic NFL Conference Championship games and Super Bowl LIII, but the sports weekend's that now getting underway is a big one for fans in America and overseas, and it's not too shabby. How about this: Tiger Woods' first tournament since his win in Atlanta last fall, the NHL All-Star Game and NFL Pro Bowl, Warriors/Celtics and Kansas/Kentucky, the WWE Royal Rumble, finals of the Australian Open, the Winter X Games, and Arsenal/Manchester United in the FA Cup. There's also primetime PBC boxing, the finale of Bellator's heavyweight tournament, U.S. and Euro figure skating championships, horse racing's Pegasus World Cup, alpine skiing at Kitzbuehel in Austria, auto racing at Daytona & Monte Carlo, one-day international cricket, rugby sevens in Canada, and world championships in luge, team handball and indoor lawn bowling.
It's indeed a big weekend of sporting events taking place here and around the world that makes you think that you'd only get a packed schedule like this during the Olympic Games. And it's with this in mind that just after the National Football League champion is crowned next weekend in another classic tilt between teams from Boston and Los Angeles (the second in five months after the Red Sox-Dodgers World Series and adding to the twelve Celtics/Lakers NBA Finals tilts), that the biggest international competition in this first half of 2019 will take place a few days later overseas, just as was last year when the world transitioned from Super Bowl LII in Minnesota straight to the Winter Olympics in South Korea. Once the Lombardi Trophy is hoisted by either the New England Patriots or the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta - itself a former Olympic host city, the focus will shift to the African nation of Namibia for Season 33 of the show that's regarded as "the fifth major pro sport."
On Wednesday, February 6th, MTV's The Challenge will once again take over our screens with a season that its host T.J. Lavin has been teasing on social media lately will be a season that fans will not be disappointed with and touts as the show's finest work. In the aftermath of an eventful three-season trilogy that might have left a sour taste in many fans' mouths, this season will be very much different in many ways, as it will bring for the very first time an international flavor to the menu of this American tradition. The big name veterans & relative newcomers the show's fans have come to love will wipe the slate clean following the triplicate of Dirty 30, Vendettas & Final Reckoning as they will collide with a totally different group of Fresh Meat: this time, it's from outside their system and most of them come from outside the United States, though there are some familiar names too.
It is the War of the Worlds: a brave new world for The Challenge, as TV favorites will collide as those from the MTV family will compete with those from the broader world of a reality genre that can give thanks to MTV for making a bevy of entertainment all possible. Imagine, major Challenge names and those from the global MTV Shore and Ex On The Beach franchises getting to compete alongside those who've survived being marooned on a beach, spent all summer in a closely-monitored house, navigated an treacherous obstacle course, and fell in love in a gorgeous villa. There is truly something for everyone as thirty-four competitors from around the world will battle their way through compelling challenges, surprising twists and much more in between in what MTV describes as "the grittiest, most hardcore season ever." And the handsome reward: the lions' share of a prize purse worth $1 million.
War of the Worlds represents the marquee attraction of the first half of 2018 to us at DCBLOG, and we will be your tour guide to covering Season 33 of The Challenge as only we can, and at every step from before the action begins until the big bucks are handed out come spring (or summer) time. And ahead in this preseason preview, we'll scratch the surface of what we can expect from Africa, as well as those who have been chosen to take this show global. And this is just the start: we'll later have our traditional introduction to the rookies who'll be taking their first steps come two weeks from now.
So, welcome on in... as always say here, get yourself comfortable, put on that Under Armour jersey and join in with us as we begin a new journey into The Challenge: War of the Worlds, ahead after the jump. We're so glad you're with us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As The Challenge is stretching its wings to encompass a worldwide global audience and drawing in those from other franchises who are getting initiated into MTV Reality for the first time, we know there's a lot of you new to this show, and we'll have an updated primer to one we first did in 2014 during the season. But for the gist of what this is all about, this is like any other reality competition series you see on the dial, but there's more of a harder edge than others: it has grueling competition of a physical and mental nature both in regular missions and epic elimination battles, with eyes pointing towards the final challenge at season's end. There is also a near to equal focus on the drama taking place among the competitors off the playing surface, from drunken reality-style drama to getting into the heads of the players when it comes to strategy and gameplay.
For this season's format, it will in all probability play onto the format that was used back in 2006 and 2010 when The Challenge used the "Fresh Meat" format. There, newcomers competed in a pre-season combine to determine a draft order for which veteran to pick. Fresh Meat 1 and 2 saw teams compete in challenges, the winning team gain immunity and voting power to send one team into elimination and the other teams vote for their opponent, followed by another challenge where if the team up for the cut won then they would switch their opponent around... That likely won't be the case this time around, given the usual format of a daily challenge followed by an elimination round though sometimes it isn't always the case these days.
Based on our guesses and estimations, teams will eventually be formed among the veterans and the rookie players, who are known in this season as prospects. The past few seasons have been built on dirtiness and rough play, but this time the vets will have no idea of the prospects have to offer until the whole season begins. And just as it was back then, the teams will have to rely on their partner - and vice versa - to carry the load and to hope that they win, hold control of the game and just sit back & relax watching the battles at night. And we have no idea of what kinds of twists TJ and production will unleash on the players, but they will sure to change the game when it does go down. And we'll explain those when we have a clear idea of that after this season kicks off.
MEET THE CAST
Names are linked to their Twitter handles where available, or to Instagram if a competitor is not on Twitter; follow our Twitter list to follow all the Season 33 cast interaction.
Unlike what is usually the case, this season's crop of competitors is one that will truly please everyone... and even if the field is changed up in one bit or the other, fans will likely have little or no qualms about the list of returning veterans in Team MTV which have amassed a combined 45 finals appearances and 16 titles between them, and the group of rookie prospects who have some good potential going into this.
For the veterans, it's practically a selection of the best from the trilogy of the past year & a half, and many might say that the show is being too repetitive on recent times to keep viewers interested, and with history among the fourteen being chosen again. But, there are two notable exceptions to the vets field that has everyone excited: two who haven't competed since they were paired together on Johnny Bananas' most recent Challenge winning season, and one of those two carries the weight of a longstanding rivalry with the 6-time champ -- and whose memories are still very much fresh from their first elimination tilt on Champs vs. Pros a year & a half ago.
And for what is essentially a third group of fresh meat to come into this system with no prior experience wearing the Under Armour unis, there is much to look to forward to for the newbies. One carries a $500,000 smile as a Big Brother champ, while another enjoys the notoriety of having done a lot of these shows in the UK as he's making his US TV debut. There's a woman who calls herself Ninja going straight from battling obstacle courses to battling to prove that she belongs here, and a man from Turkey who's hardly a rookie when it comes to reality competition shows. In all, there are seven countries represented in this international Challenge.
But for a cast full of dynamic personalities - notably a man who's made a lot of headlines in the past month and a two-time champ who's the latest to feel his charm that's opened eyebrows everywhere, we begin with the person who was at the center of it all in the last chapter of both last season and of the entire trilogy, and whose memories of what happened in that cave in South Africa two nights before Thanksgiving that's still very much fresh in our minds as we begin this all over again.
THE VETERANS
● ASHLEY M. - The last time we all got together for this, it was Final Reckoning: Ashley M. making a $1 million decision to keep all the prize money to herself when she & Hunter took out the finals win. This steal, as well as her mockingly throwing a dollar bill at him on the reunion, is the latest chapter in a litany of moments in the past five years that have made fans either love or hate her. And with two titles under her belt and now being this show's biggest money winner Ashley's looking to add more to her villain status.
● HUNTER - Hunter is the latest member of The Challenge Champions Club by way of winning Final Reckoning, but it's what happened with his partner stealing all the cash from him that made this win feel more like a loss than anything else. That traumatic moment will more than motivate the only member of the Young Bucks to come to Namibia to make up for whatever shortcomings he had there, as Hunter looks to overcome an event still fresh in his mind to prove worthy of being the champ he's now become and truly is.
● CT - A most memorable Challenge year wrapped with C.T. and his fiancΓ© tying the knot in front of family, friends & challengers, but not without lots of drama behind the scenes on his own wedding special. But before he & Lili embark on their honeymoon, it's another season for this legend and rebel turned daddy as C.T. looks to add not only more to a resume that's seen him achieve everything off his bucket list, as well as a new mission of translating whatever money he wins to help his new family back home.
● CARA MARIA - For the only competitor to make all three finals in the trilogy, Cara Maria has already established herself as THE force for the ladies with seven finals, two titles, a Champs vs. Stars MVP and 13 elimination wins. As she eyes on joining elite female company with three crowns, she now has pride as her principal motivation, and after a Season 32 plagued with romantic mix-ups and rivalries, Cara is set on letting her competitive fire do the talking this time, although it's what's been happening lately that's dominated the buzz.
● JOHNNY BANANAS - As the king of The Challenge, Johnny Bananas is royalty: six titles, 17 seasons, 2nd on the money list, a late-night hosting gig and much more. But it's been three years since he did to Sarah what Ashley did to Hunter: run away with all the money, and he's not added to his trophy case since. After getting KO'd on Vendettas and missing out on last season's final, the Season 33 hopes aren't good here as many are aiming for Johnny's crown… and will take for overcoming those to return to his place at the throne.
● WES - It has been a decade & a half since Wes first made his MTV debut in the Real World Austin warehouse, and has since become a Challenge legend with two titles, 18 overall elimination wins and a renowned social game. After doing all three Champs vs. Stars spinoffs, the Ginger man returns to a regular season - his 11th - with a wedding ring on his fingers & an entrepreneurial resume. And after a honeymoon, Wes is ready to resume his longstanding rivalry with his ultimate vendetta Johnny Bananas... a big story to watch for here.

And after a honeymoon, Wes is ready to resume his longstanding rivalry with his ultimate vendetta Johnny Bananas... a big story to watch for here.
● NANY - Eight years after she made her MTV debut in Vegas and after four seasons away, Nany returns as a licensed medical aesthetician and newly single. A six-season vet with new confidence, she comes in more eager to return to where she came within minutes of upsetting Laurel on Free Agents and to secure her future with more money. Nany will also have to find some footing after being away from the game for this long, and perhaps there may be more for her to focus on than just the game this time around.
● JENNA - When this premieres, it'll be five months to the week of Jenna surprising her ex on Real World, and no one had any idea that she would become a bigger star than him. Six seasons, three finals and only 1 defeat in elimination… but last time out she was on her way out early after only one week. Jenna now looks to redeem herself with Zach by her side, with other bestie Nany back, and keeping a watchful eye for what Amanda what might do next. Maybe this could be the year for the Barbie Beast.
● ZACH - The last time he stepped foot in Namibia, Zach was on top of a world celebrating his lone Challenge title, but he has yet to return to the top step of the victory platform. After a 2nd place finish on Vendettas, last season his partnership with Amanda was filled with feuds that left them in the cold. He once again comes here with his Challenger girlfriend Jenna in tow as they hope they can make it far together. The task ahead for Zach: make sure he steers clear of his nemesis's and get to the end again.
● KYLE π¬π§ - For everyone's favorite Tyneside pirate, Geordie Shore import Kyle has already made his mark on the other side of the pond with a finals berth and hookups with Cara, Ashley and newbie Faith. That love triangle also created a riff with partner Brad and a rivalry with Paulie that will sure to boil over again in Africa. Now comes the big task for Kyle for his third start: try to focus not on being the bachelor of this house by focusing on the game and offer more to the table than just being a British ladies' man.
● KAM - Already two seasons in, and Killa Kam has already erased whatever stigma her original AYTO 5 cast had going in: 5-0 in elimination, a finals berth, and a reputation for power moves: that includes her manipulating a whole house to rig a vote last season. Despite this, her scheming has a big target on her coming into her third Challenge, and for someone usually focused on the game, Kam is also on uncertain terms with a one-time boo who's also on this cast as she aims to take the next step & become a champ.
● NATALIE - Natalie made the jump from summer house to The Challenge a year ago and has gained notoriety for being a snake in having pulled many shady moves in her two seasons despite her claims that suggest otherwise. And after making last season's final by way of betraying one-time crush Bananas, this time she's more motivated to make it back to the end while also having an eye on her native family in Venezuela. Natalie has the confidence, but the big ask now is to truly play clean and honest for as long to take the next step.
● PAULIE - Lastly, there's hardly anyone right now who hasn't heard about what Paulie has done in the past year. The BB alum came to Ex On The Beach, then flew straight to his first Challenge guns blazing as he made it to the final despite much time in redemption, and left with Cara in hand and with Kyle as a rival after scooping her. He & the redhead are a power couple now, and with the Brit back things might get even more wild here, especially in the wake recent tabloid headlines. Paulie now has sights on the next level, but only if he can keep his hatred in check.
THE PROSPECTS
● GUS - For the most well-known of the prospects to MTV fans, Gus will take his talents straight from PCB & Floribama Shore to The Challenge. Those who've watched him know he's a gentleman and isn't afraid to show his emotions, but when fists fly he tends to be right in the middle of things. This book cover model hasn't always been a charmer, as he's had to toughen up when he was kicked out of his house. Things will be tough as a rookie, but he can look to his athletic skills as a high school football player as a guide to get him through.
● MORGAN - And one who has back-to-back nights to look forward is Morgan, who we're currently seeing on Ex On The Beach, and who is both an spin instructor and an AfterBuzz host. Before landing Jay and then Corey, she won Big Brother Over The Top with her sassy, honest and down to earth ways, and who was a cheerleader once in her day. Her exuberance might rub the players the wrong way, but Morgan's competitive fire will see her utilize her plans again in a different house, and plans to use what she wins to help sister Alex start a new business.
● JOSH - For the MTV newbies, Josh comes in two years after taking out the Big Brother 19 crown and gaining both fans and detractors along the way. Those who watched this Miami native that summer of 2017 saw him have many an argument with the houseguests, and banging pots & pans to get to wake up those who were against him. Josh channels what Paulie was on his B.B. season as a strong competitor with a win at all costs persona, but will his summer success of playing a shrewd game translate into success in The Challenge house?
● JULIA & LIZ - They may be two separate competitors, but Julia and Liz represent double trouble for The Challenge -- just as it was with Thomas & Stephen on Bloodlines. These identical twin sisters made waves on Big Brother 17 in 2015 when they took turns to be one houseguest, and where Liz finished 2nd at summer's end. Liz has a knack for politics, while Julia isn't one to shy away from love... especially with lots of guys to choose from in a more crowded house than it was first time out. The Nolan sibs hope to come out on top, and as family it may be their advantage.
● MATTIE LYNN - Southerners always seem to have the most fun on The Challenge, and the latest to come from the South is Mattie Lynn, who partied it up on CMT's own Jersey Shore, Party Down South. She calls herself a "beautiful disaster" and anything but the usual Southern belle as a bartender in Nashville, one who loves to party and have a good time in Music City. As she returns to TV this winter, Mattie hopes to cash at the end to help foot the bill and begin a new chapter, but she never shies away from enjoying some shots... and will a Vet help her to the W?
● NINJA - The most eagerly-anticipated U.S. prospect -- and touted as one of the most formidable rookies here -- is "Ninja" Natalie from American Ninja Warrior, who first gave the venerable obstacle course a try in 2012 and then four years later, making it to the L.A. regional final. This professional rock climber also holds a neuroscience degree which she can look to also gain a mental leg up on the field in her first go. Although prize money would be cool, Ninja sees her desire to push herself competitively as motivation... she hopes someone who can match her intensity will help her here.
● ZAHIDA π¬π§ - Hailing from Kyle's Newcastle digs in the North of England, Zahida is a former beauty queen who also appeared on Geordie Shore as well as Ex On The Beach UK. She calls herself "cheeky, loud & flirty," and will use whatever she wins in Namibia to begin her own swimwear lingerie brand before summer comes around. Like Kay & Mel before her, Zahida boasts a loud personality that can help her make her mark in America as she did in Britain, and her being fun loving socially may help her gain allies and follow Joss & Kyle into a final.
● THEO π¬π§ - Theo is also a Love Island alum having appeared in that Spanish shack two years ago and amassed a large following in 2017. But he and Champs vs. Stars icon Louise Hazel have something in common: representing England and Team GB on the athletics track, and he can rely on those talents to help him along with the goal of winning enough money to buy a house. Theo knows The Challenge is different than any competition he's been in, but he's never afraid to tell it like it is... he will have to keep his thoughts in check if he wants to go deep.
● DEE π¦πΊ - Native Australian and self-described wild child Dee comes to The Challenge from when Series 17 of Geordie Shore invaded Sydney last year and was one of four locals to party with Kyle's ex Holly and the rest of the UK crew. In a nation that loves its sports, Dee is aiming to inspire her fellow Aussies down under by doing what she can to make a big splash and do what she can to win. Dee might take on the role of being the silent assassin and perhaps can take a cue from the playbook of making big moves or calling Challengers out.
● ALAN π²π½ - As this fitness model makes the jump from Spanish-language telenovelas to this show, Alan thinks of competing on The Challenge as more than just a competition to win money: like any futbol star who wear the El Tri, just being the first Mexican to compete here is an achievement he already takes great pride in. As a former Mexican basketballer, he can hold his own when it comes to the challenges where athleticism is key, but when it comes to mental and physical toughness it's a different story as he faces off with Challenge greats.● JOAO PAULO/"JP" π§π· - As he follows in the footsteps of Challenge icon Camila, JP comes to The Challenge from her pΓ‘tria of Brazil, where he was a star of its version of Ex On The Beach. He's a model who was crowned Mr. Brazil, and who has his eyes on winning enough money to get married. But his pretty looks tell only tell part of who JP is: an energy engineering degree proves that he can also use brains along with brawn to give him some confidence going into a game he doesn't have much knowledge of.
● SHALEEN π¨π¦ - The last time Canada was represented on The Challenge, it was 2-time champion Evan... now it's Shaleen's turn to fly the maple leaf. She was a contestant on The Bachelor Canada who found drama in the quest for love and roses north of the border. She's an aspiring filmmaker who can use whatever money she wins to help her budding career, but don't get fooled by how sweet she can be. Shaleen can use that to get what she wants if she wants it... and her combative alter-ego may as well make an appearance in Africa.
● TURABI/"TURBO" πΉπ· - Finally, there's no bigger social buzz for any competitor this seasn than that of "Turbo," aka Turabi of Survivor Turkey. This MMA fighter & dancer made a name for himself in winning two seasons of the local version of the venerable series as a dominating force there. Turbo stands to be one of the most intimidating physical performers to ever set foot on The Challenge, and he will make sure there's no hurdle that will guard his way to his third reality crown... that is if he has a Veteran partner who can live up to his larger than life persona.
The last time The Challenge came to this country in southern Africa, Namibia was the venue for the last regular mission and elimination, and the final challenge for Battle of the Seasons II. It was the last Bananas-free regular season, where Zach and his San Diego mates won, where Wes had his earliest exit in his Challenge career, and where Nany make her Challenge debut. How the ladder two will handle a return to regular competition after three years away when they were paired on Rivals III -- the same season as the Bananas steal -- are one of many questions on fans' minds going into War of the Worlds.
Other things on everyone's questions lists include: "How will Ashley and Hunter fare after Final Reckoning?", "Is this the season where Leroy finally becomes a champ?", "How will Bear and the British invasion do in Joss' absence?", "Is Turbo the real deal his social fans say he is?", "Could this be C.T.'s last stand?", "Can Cara Maria make it three Challenge titles?", "How will Gus handle the pressures of The Challenge house?", And "What's next under the sleeve of Paulie?" And there's so many more questions that you have which will be answered in less than two weeks from now.
As a MTV Reality fanatic who is just as big a sports fan as the shows I love, and as one who sets aside his TV & mobile viewing every two years to binge watch the Olympics -- and who also follows that world regularly in between those 17 days, this season of The Challenge is right up this blogger's alley... it's as if it was tailor made for this Olympic superfan. This season is, after all, taking place in a nation whose most well-known athlete was two-time Olympic sprinter Frankie Fredericks, who ran against Michael Johnson, Donovan Bailey and Ato Boldin as they all looked to follow in Carl Lewis' footsteps, and a member of this season once competed in that same track & field discipline.
International competition between competitors from different nations of our world, and the sight of fans flying flags of these nations in the stands, is something that unites sports fans the world over whether it's soccer, skiing or whenever gold medals are at stake. It's something American sports fans only get themselves into during the Olympics, the FIFA World Cup & Women's World Cup, golf's Ryder Cup between America and Europe, and a small handful of other events too. But though we've had a British invasion on last year's two Challenge seasons and enjoying Louise Hazel become Wes' equal on Champs vs. Pros/Stars, for the first time in the history of The Challenge - a show that was an American invention will feel like you're watching an Olympic event in the competition that will take place, in addition to the reality drama we've seen more of in recent times.
In the course of the past few months while filming of this season took place overseas and continuing to now as we count down the days down to February 6th, peek over at host TJ Lavin's Twitter and Instagram accounts, where he's been teasing to Challenge fans about how good War of the Worlds is compared to what we've had in recent seasons. From all of the comments you see on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vevmo, hardcore fans have been worrying about the dumbing down of their favorite show over this time and of whether or not they can continue on following this franchise.
But if the trailer below is an indication, and if the finished product is as good as it is, War of the Worlds might be the season that not only wins back those fans and keeps The Challenge a standout in a channel that's been going through a Renaissance the past two years, but will help to usher in a bold new era for this MTV icon. If it's an awesome season, it will finally get the greater appreciation among the entire reality community that it truly deserves... and it's all by simply focusing more on what hooks fans of this show in the first place: grueling challenges, shocking twists, jaw-dropping drama, and everything that makes The Challenge so good. As they say, Let The Games Begin.

As we commence this new Challenge season and as this busy 2019 now goes into overdrive, think of DCBLOG as the Sunday supplement to the MTV Reality shows you love. If you enjoy the podcast interviews and recaps across the web, and where power rankings, fantasy scoring, hot takes and Twitter stans are commonplace, then this site is The New York Times in covering The Challenge, only part of our MTV expanded beat that also includes Ex On The Beach, Floribama Shore, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club and other shows we deem to be worthy.
For here, we'll be along every week to cover this Challenge as only we can, starting with our exclusive SocialPulse diaries: all the play-by-play of the action, reaction and interaction from cast, alumni and fans from before, during and after the episodes on Twitter, presented uncensored & in real time. Like other sites, we'll be able to offer our own take on the usual episode recaps with reviews, opinions and analysis, but our other specialty is where we shine: ExtraTime will offer an "up close and personal" look at the competitors, the MTV Reality community and the world through this prism with our signature storytelling. If you wanna get to know the people behind the personalities, leave it to us at DCBLOG to take a deep dive into who these figures are.
To make things fair on everyone - those who watch the episodes live on Wednesday and those who don't cable and can't catch up until starting Thursday morning, our weekly episode coverage always begins over the weekend and a few days after it airs... hence, the #DCBLOG hashtag is used across the weekend on my social media. That way, we'll give all fans ample time to catch up, then join us here for all the reaction, analysis and stories covering this Challenge when you're relaxing at the end of the week. And while you're catching up, we'll craft & curate our acclaimed, high-quality coverage to better offer an angle on The Challenge and MTV Reality you won't get anywhere else... something for everyone to cater to both the hardcore and casual fans.

Now, because of things taking place with yours truly this weekend, our upcoming weekend schedule will be different: our usual Pulse diaries covering Ex On The Beach, Floribama Shore and Lohan Beach Club as well as a special covering the Siesta Key premiere will not be posted on here until starting either Sunday night or early next week due to precedent being given to the other key element in our preseason Challenge coverage. We know that it is an inconvenience, but luckily it's in the short term: once you're caught up on watching the episodes, as always we'll save a seat for you to rejoin us at the table. So stay patient... we'll have you all covered then.
Also, it's also with this busy schedule in mind and the packed stretch of programming that's about to begin that, unfortunately, we'll again be putting our long-promised Reality Debrief covering 2017 and 2018 in this genre on the backburner. We'll be working behind the scenes to get things finished in bits and pieces, but with a month into this new year now doesn't seem to not be the ideal time to post something I've been planning to do for nearly two years but haven't had as much time as I wanted to work on it. We DO promise it will be posted at some point, and me and Andrew Kirk will sure have so much time -- 3-4 posts perhaps -- to discuss everything when that time finally arrives.
But next up, we know that you got a lot of questions about the large batch of rookies that you are about to see for the first time take on America's Best. And before you begin to rant about wanting more of the veterans you want back on this show, we have a longtime tradition of ours to offer as we have done for every Challenge we've covered here: a special two-part installment of Who Are These Newbies? for War Of The Worlds will be up next week, where we'll add some insight and context to the international field of this season, and introduce Challenge fans to familiar reality stars. A similar post for Ex On The Beach Season 2's class of notable exes will also be up then.
So, this is just the beginning... hope you liked it and that you're ready as we are for February 6th. Talk to here in a few days, and enjoy your weekend everyone.
