Last week in Australia, the season's second half began with the remaining five couples becoming filmmakers as they were put into a precarious position of having to film and show public displays of affection. For Cameron & Mikala, we saw some more inklings that their seemingly perfect relationship wasn't as perfect as it seemed. For Tori & Morgan, that meant him having to become a robot and her having paranoia of what might happen to them... and as it turned out, their second trip to The Choice proved to be all for naught, as last week's decision turned out to be a Blind Choice.
This week, the same five couples begin back at square one as the couples turn to an always interesting challenge: having to drive while blindfolded, with the other playing the role of passenger having to help maneuver their way around. A title that seems fitting for one of the guys still remaining in Melbourne gets passed over to the newbie here when he tries to manipulate the other matches. And the latest twist of the tale of the only truth booth match continues, a big mistake could bring their relationship down.

In the wake of the chaos that was the Season 5 finale and reunion, there were a number of couples that emerged out of this season and four are still together: Gianna & Hayden, Shannon & Tyler, Taylor & Andre and the guy from Staten Island. For Mike, he & Alicia had a good/bad dynamic in Australia, but decided in the end that this shouldn't be more than just a civil relationship. And it wasn't just her that he's been linked with since back in early January: he was close to the one who's been romantically linked to Bachelor Robby Hayes, Kathryn.
But, he has found his own perfect match in Casandra, who found themselves attracted to one another in the first couple weeks in the Dominican Republic. Whether they were one of those eleven beams in the Caribbean, the matchmakers didn't have them as one when they and Team 22 blacked out in their second matchup, and while he was with Kathryn briefly, Cas was also one of the many pursued by Joey.
Both Cas and Mike made the trip from the island of heartbreak in the wake of that infamous loss to the world's largest island in Australia, but didn't cross paths that much thanks to her being eliminated in week 1. But as we all know, there's a lot of time in between when filming ends and (him coming home from down under) and the show airing on our screens and in was in this time that the two found that they were meant for one another.
Last month came a new change of scenery for Mike, as Cas flew up to New York, traveled across the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to his house on Staten Island (where The Challenge Invasion's Nicole and Marie also call home), grabbed all his stuff and made the long trek from the Big Apple down to her home base, Houston, TX. And like what we've seen with the Midwesterners of the cast, they are most definitely enjoying each other's company, thanks to the public nature of social media in them posting pictures. One of those captions of the pictures posted by Mike & Cas read, "Best million dollars I've ever lost ❤️," and another added, "I wish I could turn back the clock. I'd find you sooner and love you longer."
As we discussed before, Mike & Casandra, along with six of their Season 5 castmates and others from past seasons, are the latest proof in proving a goal of this show of trying to find true love, even if the matchmakers might say otherwise... and in this season's case, even if it would take having to sacrifice $800,000 that they and the rest of their cast lost back in March. This does prove that science doesn't have to help those in need of love or the help of others in a house full of drama to stick to a certain strategy... if you can follow your heart, it can lead you to good things with your partner. That's what we've found here.
