Last week, Melissa was put into the ring to face Alicia in the first girls Ring, and despite being new to the MTV U.S. audience the Brit took care of the AYTO newbie. While all eyes were set on the house trying to break Brad and Britni up - and after a promising season on Dirty 30, Tony was last week's MVP when he killed the latest trivia and eating challenge to gain Troika status with Marie and Zach, and then forcing a team with his Vendettas of Brad and Sylvia to vote her in.
This week sees her have to battle not only possibly going home, but also trying to fight an illness that may send her home. For those of us getting to see the Brit DJ for the first time that those outside the U.S. have seen on Ex on the Beach UK, we get to see what she kind of drama she brings, which may again reignite her feud with her vendettas Kayleigh. And after a year that saw a slew of great Challenge elimination matchups, this week sees another one join that list.
You'll experience that and all the action, reaction and interaction coming up, and after the diary there was another fight that took place this past week, but you might not have known about it unless you follow my Instagram. It's not everyday that the spotlight turns to yours truly and to things that don't have anything to do with my passions of MTV, sports and pop culture which I cover here. But for a brief moment at the end of this Pulse, this blogger would like to share with you, our site's loyal readers, something that took place outside of that which went down this past week, courtesy of my Instagram.
If you're one of those who looks forward to Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season, one of the sights you see come late November is of large crowds at the malls, shopping centers and stores. That include the adrenaline rush of the year's biggest shopping day in Black Friday, and in where Melissa & the Brits call home in the U.K., Boxing Day - the day after Christmas. And often, there are fights that break out among customers when they try get a hold of that last item on the shelf that's being put at a discount just like what we've seen many a time on MTV reality shows.
On Monday night when I was taking care of buying the family groceries at my local Target, upon me just checking out I spotted three people who were blocking the doorway outside the store. From my angle, one was about to head off stealing what appeared to be a bottle of lotion and another item. And there, a store worker went to try and stop him, and another person came into the fight as well.
For my Black Friday, I spent the past two just relaxing at home doing blog work instead of being in the mall. But in this social media age where everyone has a smartphone, whatever you see in front of you it'll be posted on Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter and YouTube almost in a heartbeat. That's exactly what yours truly did when I posted that fight in my Stories on the first two platforms, and I also posted it for the larger audience on Instagram as well. That video is embedded below, and a caution to readers that it contains adult language.
After that video was posted, those who are my fellow followers tweeted in my comments emojis and asking me what on earth was going on. Me too, I was also asking that same question as well. It's not every day that you'd see a mall or a department store become an NHL rink with a fight breaking out, but it's always one of those moments that'll make your jaw drop just like what we see on reality TV.

Well, after all that... coming up on the WRAP, we'll break down Melissa & Sylvia's epic elimination and other showstopper battles after a bevy of them last year. Also, we'll say hello to Team MTV's latest newbies as the group who challenged Bananas and co. on a special Fear Factor last year will welcome us to their ideal setting: winter fun.
