Last week saw Antonio finally have reason to call his girlfriend back home that he has been cheating on, and he kept things mum on what has been going on in Vegas, staying true to the mantra that what happens in Sin City should stay there -- obviously, it's not the case when MTV is there. And we had yet another hookup to join that list of those who have coupled up, as Nicky and Suzi became the third pair of newbies to get it on. But the season as a lot of you are concerned kicked off in full swing with the arrival of Mike the Situation & his wife Lauren to join Pauly D. and Vinny for a special weekend.
Back earlier this year and once upon a time, the Southerners of Floribama Shore had their own party of the decade when the king of Puke & Rally, Codi, invited the crew and their parents for the ultimate house party. Now comes the sequel, and this time we're headed to the pool as Pauly hosts a pool day in his honor at Drai's, and when it's a party Jersey Style, you can be sure that this is THE happening in town. And after the jump, DCBLOG cordially invites you to the summer's biggest bash, as A Double Shot at Love hosts The Most Epic Pool Party Ever!
As we begin, we weren't planning to do our traditional Pulse posts for A Double Shot at Love as The Challenge has taken over our attention for most of this summer. But after our last WRAP featured some 130+ embedded tweets, and with Total Madness now wrapped up as well as this week's episode being just that juicy, for the rest of this summer we'll be applying the Pulse treatment to Double Shot - something we have been doing for every episode of Floribama Shore and Maria's original show, Are You The One?. What an episode, indeed. And with me being a regular Vegas visitor for the past decade, it's hard to believe that I have not gone to those weekend pool parties that the resorts get to throw this time of year... but after what we got to see with four couples getting hot & horny at Drai's you now have a sense of the wild madness that takes place on Sundays like these at the beach club. It's worth a visit when things finally get back to normal.
Now, with just Double Shot and Siesta Key being our focus for the rest of the summer, we are also taking into consideration something that might be impossible to think of at the start of this year. But now with our schedule being lightened up a bit after the conclusion of the Total Madness Challenge, we are considering adding coverage in some way or shape of the upcoming and newly-announced special season of Big Brother All Stars to our slate of MTV Reality coverage.
Without getting deep into those, there's rumors going around right now that a few of those BB alumni who we just saw on The Challenge are going straight from going up against Bananas and co. to facing off against one another in the famous summer house. Whoever is on are in the process of being quarantined before they enter the house on the CBS lot in the next week or so, and once again so many of you reality fans will be glued to your TV's & live feeds for all that.
If we do get the chance to do that, DCBLOG will have supplementary coverage of just weekly recaps, a season preview and our traditional introduction to those houseguests of interest who might as well follow in the footsteps of those like Paulie, Natalie, Josh, Swayleigh and others to The Challenge. We'll let you know about it on our social channels at @DC408Dxtr - so stay tuned.
As for what's to come here, with the NBA season about to get restarted once again as we begin an extraordinary late summer and fall in the sports world, join us in a day or so when we get to know one of sports' most powerful women, and one who one of those aforementioned subjects happily gets to know.
