In the past two summers, we have enjoyed the thrill of getting to see people in love as only MTV can do it. We've had two seasons of Are You The One? and a summer of Ex On The Beach during that time, but Season 2 of A Double Shot at Love will have to do this time around, featuring Maria of AYTO Season 7 as she once again finds herself in the company of Vinny & Pauly D.
Still, MTV Reality's takes on love are making news, as there is joy for not one, but four alumni of either or both AYTO and EOTB who are now taking the next step to tackle that challenge of raising a kid years after they made trips into the Truth Booth and the Shack of Secrets. However, this will come during this time of living in a COVID world, as the pandemic continues to wreck havoc on the life we live, and the usual fanfare that comes with welcoming that new addition has been subdued a bit... but nonetheless, whenever there's news of babies it's always something to smile about.

Two of those who came to Malibu in that precarious spot on the beach were Shannon Duffy of the AYTO Season 5 cast and Anthony Martin of Season 6, both airing in 2017. He made the drive down to the beach as the ex of original housemate Geles Rodriguez, and she also did likewise as the soccer player's ex fresh off of a breakup before joining Romeo Miller & co. And as it was down in New Orleans, Anthony had to again endure having a drink thrown in his face in the EOTB house.
Their first time together may not have been a breeze, but working things out like any couple in that Malibu madhouse may have been the best thing to happen to #Shanthony. And on Mother's Day in May they announced that they are expecting, joining Shannon's fellow AYTO Season 5'er turned mom Taylor Selfridge and MTV king Cory Wharton in having all-Ex On The Beach babies.
Stay-at-home orders and social distancing have truncated the traditional celebrations that come with an impending pregnancy, including baby showers and the ubiquitous gender reveal -- and Anthony & Shannon got to experience it themselves being at Taylor & Cory's big bash earlier this year along with everyone else in Team MTV. But COVID didn't stop #Shanthony from holding their own gender reveal party nearly two weeks ago with family, close friends and fellow EOTB'ers the Kaplan Twins, Cameron Armstrong and his ex Ariana Nova on hand to find out who it is...
It's a baby girl that Anthony & Shannon are having later this year, and the daddy in waiting wrote on Instagram, "IT’S GOING TO BE A GIRRLLLLLL 😭🙏🏻💕💓💗💝 my dream of becoming a #GirlDad is finally coming true and mommy & daddy can’t wait to finally meet you in October! You are already so loved & spoiled and it’ll only grow when you’re finally here. I will learn to do ponytails and braid hair so when mommy is too tired to get up, I can do it all for you 💕 I can’t wait for the daddy and daughter dances and all the fun activities I’ll get to do with you. Daddy LOVES YOU SO MUCH MI PRINCESA 💝 #GirlDad"
And the mommy to be added, "IT’S A GIRL!!!! 😭💓 You can clearly tell by my facial expressions that I was team girl 😂 Baby girl, me and daddy are so so excited to meet you and hold you!! You are so incredibly loved and supported by so many already. Daddy already is asking me to teach him how to do a ponytail and braid hair lol. You are going to be so spoiled and I cannot wait!!! I just want to hold you in my arms already 🥺 Thank you to everyone who came and joined us in this amazing celebration, you mean more to us than you’ll ever know! @alezyra and @marvynrr thank you for capturing these priceless moments for us!!! 17 weeks until you’re here and we all can’t wait to meet you princess 🤍"

Good luck, Anthony.", and the newly engaged member of the AYTO family in Uche: "I WISH WE COULDVE BEEN THERE 😭 so excited for the both of you!!!!!!"

It would've been an unlikely prospect for someone like the Drummer to be on that list of those who would be a dad... but that's the case. A few weeks ago on June 23rd, Malcolm & his Houston-based girlfriend, adult entertainer Barbie (@EveryoneLovesBarbie), officially welcomed their first kid, Dream Dior Drummer. He captioned on Instagram @mackemdrummer, "Everyone say hello to Dream Dior Drummer born June 23rd 2020 at 1:10PM in Houston Texas 🙏🏾 I love you soo much son, I know you came during this pandemic but you made it. I finally know my purpose in life. Lets get it! @dreamdiordrummer 💙"
Likewise for the new parents, Malcolm & Barbie got well-wishes in welcoming Dream into their world with Shannon writing, "Congrats Malcolm!!!! Ugh so happy for you 😭🤍 may your family continue to be blessed with love, happiness and health 🙏🏽🙏🏽." But after all that bad blood they endured in the Big Easy and in SoCal, Nurys wrote to the ex, "OH MY GOODNESS!! 😍 congratulations Malcolm, you’re going to be an amazing father! God bless you and your family ♥️🙏🏽"

Rashida Beach was Devin's perfect match once the confetti rained down on them after those famous red cups & quarter determined the group's $750,000 fate. They teamed up together to totally dominate the lone season of the AYTO spinoff Second Chances in Australia, and they even got to turn an AYTO aftershow stage into a club when they appeared to announce that spinoff during Season 5. Rashida is now a realtor back home in South Carolina as everyone else has been on many Challenges, but on 4th of July weekend the one who calls herself on Instagram the "bitesizedBoSS" revealed that she is now expecting as she shared her gender reveal on YouTube.
We'll let her reveal below if it's a boy or a girl, but those who were part of that memorable cast got to say congrats to Rashida on IG including fellow mom Amanda ("Aw congrats sister!!!!!!!"), Stacey ("Omg congratulations babe!!!!❤️"), and Tori ("Congrats 😍😍😍")... and we send ours to her, to Malcolm and to Shannon & Anthony. And there's two more people who have just added the title "parent" to having done multiple Challenges... we'll share with you who they are after we bring you the 'Pulse of Semifinal Week of Total Madness coming just ahead.
