Last week, TJ Lavin turned from Challenge host to becoming a mixture of Dr. Hyde and Alex Trebek molded into one for his annual unleashing of trivia on the set of competitors, as Darrell and Amber B. took over status of agents in charge in the game. But the Itty Bitty Committee found themselves at the heart of the drama in trying to balance the fine line of alliances and members in their rookie crew, all as someone who has been described as a snooze in this reality world, Kaycee, took out Theresa for the third women's skull and making a certain former CBS head's wife grin from ear to ear watching at home.
In proof of its midseason trailer airing at the end of that 9th episode, this week sees the season's second half tee off with one other Big Brother alum finding himself in the spotlight again: this time with an IBC member than his gameplay. There may be a reckoning to come for the most volatile partnership in the Arctic as the newly minted world champion in women's bobsled is intent on moving on. And totem poles are the order in the day in the week's daily challenge, which may expose not just who how to not put a puzzle together, but also how to properly play this game especially when you're a rookie at this.

CONGRATS MIKALA & JOE!
With our most recent ExtraTime involving Are You The One? and its most notable guest star in Gus of Floribama Shore back on Wednesday, we are reminded of where Devin, Tori, Nelson and Amber M. come to us from, and despite no season airing last year due to the pandemic it continues to be in the news. And there's more true love to report from here, this time from Tori's season of five years ago.
They may not have met on an MTV show, but there's no doubt now that Joe and Mikala are each other's perfect match... and if you saw our story on the Staying Relevant YouTube series last year, it was there in Connecticut that they made it official. And on Valentine's Day, they sealed it with the announcement of their almost inevitable engagement - but it was on the global holiday of love that they made this news public - it was last summer that he got on his knee with that ring and popping that magic question, and they waited until now to reveal that.
You saw the congratulatory messages above from the rest of Joe & Mikala's fellow AYTO family, many of whom were there in CT for the second trip of their 2018 trilogy when they changed their status to "in a relationship," and now as they change that status to "engaged," we congratulate the lovebirds.
There is much more still to come here: two more members of the parents club in Challenge Nation are being initiated - one that took place also on Valentine's Day and the other just shortly after... we'll tell you that other one is in addition to that first one that you saw above. But we're also prepping to begin covering a new year in Floribama Shore, and our preview of Season 4 is also coming up too.
