Season 2 of Jersey Shore's Southern cousins has already offered plenty of drama and last week saw the most jam-packed one of all. After their cab hookup, Nilsa and Gus decided to not take that thing to another level (for now), while Aimee went to the hospital for dehydration and Kortni showed off her diaper. But when they went out to celebrate Gus' birthday, the night turns out to be nothing more than the Las Vegas-hangover kind of night of many things going down: another incident at a local bar, Candace and the birthday boy arguing and Kirk finding himself in trouble.
He slapped a bystander after they were made fun of for getting kicked out, and at night's end the cops came to their door to put him under arrest. And this week, he and the house will find out if he will spend a night in jail, just as it was with Ronnie back on Season 1 in Seaside. When the most twisted night ever for our Floribama crew in PCB ends, our favorite Southern bartender continues his quest for get laid. And once they're all recovered from their hangover, the roommates come together to support two of their own when a bikini contest takes over town.

Well, a situation that would've been the worse case scenario for our Floribama friends gets avoided when Kirk does not spend the night in jail following the madness of what went down last week. And things are just about getting back to normal in the fun department with Candace and Nilsa taking part in a bikini contest that sees just the ladder place in that contest. And Codi goes from making out with a girl to now perhaps being next in line to get a hook-up here, not to mention providing comic relief reading that book with Gus on the cover. Quite a first month in the Panhandle.
GET WELL MACY
One of those who bartended in Redneck Heaven was Macy Needum, a blonde who was one of the new bartenders who joined Kristyn and others in that restaurant in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. But a few days ago, life changed for her when she was involved in a car crash in the North Texas suburb of Aubrey. There, she and her Jeep collided with another car when her windshield was broken at 60 mph, ejected her through the vehicle's open roof and flew in the air and landed on her leg. Macy was then sent to the hospital and the doctor's report showed she had a broken pelvis, major bruises and minor cuts... but a few days after she was released and is now recuperating. We send out our get wishes with Macy in making a speedy recovery.

For a weekend that's just now starting up here on a Thursday, our focus shifts tomorrow to covering The Challenge, as a man who wasn't the most-liked man on his original season of reality TV and then on Ex On The Beach, brings his bag of tricks to Final Reckoning. We'll have this week's episode covered here starting tomorrow, and we'll also have a look through the eyes of the Trifecta at the new kid on the block in the world of musical competition shows.
Speaking of music, tonight saw the kickoff of Lollapalooza 2018 in Chicago with Camila Cabello, Khalid, All Time Low and Travis Scott taking the stage in Grant Park. Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Logic, Post Malone, Brockhampton and Lil' Pump are among the other big names performing over this weekend in Chi-Town, and DCNOW will have it covered this weekend @DC408DxNow. One of these artists will also be featured in an ExtraTime post to come here next week.
