Last week, our friends had a night to remember and a birthday night to forget when Kirk was arrested and then un-arrested for slapping a bystander at a bar, while Codi found himself getting laid just after Candace and Kirk let it out in the street. Things, though, do get back to normalcy when the guys decide to do something to help foot the bill for the summer, while Candace and Nilsa take part in a bikini contest.
And when they're all home, Candace and Codi agree to go on a date... and this week we find out if that will go down or if she stays loyal to who she calls her "boo-thang." Meanwhile, a new relationship gets put to the test when one of the girls and her boyfriend get into an argument. And who wants a hot dog? We'll join the group for their new job as they get to work at a restaurant on the Shore... but it becomes more than just making those buns.

If you watched Season 1, you saw Jeremiah's brother Josh agree to go on a date with Nilsa... only for that to go by the wayside. Here, we see Codi go through that feeling of being rejected after Candace agreed to take him on a date, only for her "Boo Thang" back home to suggest to not go out. We also saw Kortni and Logan get into it, and the guys are now working at a hog dog restaurant to keep themselves busy during this summer. Now, let's digress...

Very soon - and before the OG girls return, a new group of moms will take over MTV... but there's a catch: they aren't teenagers, didn't appear on 16 & Pregnant, and they tend to gravitate more to being more like the ladies of The Hills than anything else. Unlike their TM counterparts, they all live in the same city instead of being spread out across the country. And like LC, Kristin and the kids of Siesta Key, they call a beachside city home: San Diego, CA.
Pretty Little Mamas is this new show, and will feature of group of five best friends who call the town Zach, Ashley and Brad once roamed, and who all have been through a lot together -- loss, love, career goals and relationships -- and who are looking to balancing what they want in life with being young moms. The stars of the show are the clique of Nicole, Chandlar, Nikki, Alyssa and Cheyenne, and each of their bios read much like
Nicole juggles being mom to her son Noelle with grad school while living with her parents and having a new boyfriend, while Chandlar is mom to two kids while both her ex and current boyfriend deal with paralysis and drug addiction. Alyssa is engaged, has a beautiful young kid and ready to graduate nursing school but also has to deal with her mom's ill health.
Cheyenne, on the other hand, is the only one who has a wedding ring, but also has two kids, her husband struggles with jobs and lives with her dad. And the newbie of the bunch is Nikki, who came from Asia looking for a new life in America, but after getting pregnant things have changed for her as she documents her life not just on MTV but also on YouTube.
Pretty Little Mamas isn't just one of MTV's newest series to be unleashed during this fall cycle, it's the latest new show to gain an always coveted spot in airing after MTV's biggest shows: it follows Jersey Shore Family Vacation starting August 30th.
