The fourth American season of Ex, Peak of Love, is approaching the end of its winter down under in New Zealand where Georgia and Callum have become the golden couple of the chalet. And last week saw the season's last ex arrive in the winter resort town of Queenstown in Allie's other Temptation Island ex, Cameron, sliding down the mountain. We also saw the last Hot Date get handed out in Marlon and La Demi deepening their up & down relationship by going for a ride in the sea. And we saw Adore find herself in the drama as well too.
As we return to the Peak, this week sees the third appearance of what's now become an end-of-season ritual to ask the question: Who is telling the truth? The Sauna of Secrets will evolve into the Truth Booth this week as, instead of which couples are confirmed perfect matches, a lie detector will await each of the singles and the exes who are still here with us, and no doubt this will cause everyone to lose their minds. And the results may wreck the best laid plans for that one British couple who are looking to do what no EOTB couple has ever done: seal things with a ring.
We'll have the answers to that here ahead as all the action, reaction and interaction from week 12 by the Peek. And we'll also have more on the passing this past week of the host of the UK version of the show that one of the singles comes to us from, Love Island. Join us after the break...

REMEMBERING CAROLINE FLACK
As you saw above, we began with sad news from Britain: last week, the presenter of the first four series of the original British version of global reality phenomenon, Love Island, Caroline Flack, committed suicide at the age of 40. This came after upsetting press reports from the notorious British tabloids about her mental state, the constant trolling she has received lately, and weeks before she was set to go on trial with her ex-husband for domestic violence just a few months ago.
Last weekend's episodes of season 6 of Love Island UK were pulled last minute by its broadcaster ITV out of respect to her, but the remaining episodes were screened as scheduled in Britain which began with a tribute to Flack last Monday by the show's narrator Iain Stirling. This has reopened the role mental health has played on participants in what's known in the UK as factual entertainment programming after the deaths of LI alum Mike Thassiaus and a guest of The Jeremy Kyle Show which led the talk-fest to be cancelled as did the 2019 series of Ex On The Beach UK.
Georgia S. of this Peak of Love season appeared on the fourth season of Love Island UK in 2018 along with her exes Niall and Sam and War of the Worlds 2 Challenger Idris Virgo. And the previous year, finalists from the first WOTW challenge, Georgia Harrison and Theo Campbell joined Mike on the third series.
