Hi again and welcome to, sadly, our final edition of DC SocialPulse for season one of Are You The One?, as we cover the aftermath, or shall we say, "The After-Match," better known as the Reunion. This has been nothing but a hugely successful first season of this unique social experiment, the likes of which has never been attempted before now.

   More than two months after this started with 20 young people single & ready to mingle after not having much luck in the love department, this all concludes with them all finding their perfect match and sharing in the largest prize in MTV history. And judging from tremendous interest both on twitter and among viewers, including fans staying up late after Teen Mom II & this shown around the world, this has captured everyone's attention to the point that NY Observer is calling Are You The One? "The greatest reality show ever." Last week, of course, was the season finale and the group got to figure out the last remaining love triangle in the house - Scali, Jacy & John - and then swapped them & Ashleigh to pave the way for the group to go 10 for 10 and fly out of Hawaii with $1 million.

   But as it turns out, the finale isn't the end of the drama among the group. This week is the curtain closer to season one as Adam, Amber, Ashleigh, Brittany, Chris, Coleysia, Dillan, Dre, Ethan, Jacy, Jessica, Joey, John, Kayla, Paige, Ryan, Scali, Shanley, Simone & Wes get together for the first time since their moment in the sun in Hawaii for the Reunion, and once again host Ryan Devlin moderates the proceedings. We'll be looking back on the dramatic fights, steamy hookups and budding romances, as well as finding out who stayed together, some explosive drama and a surprise proposal & engagement between one of the couples.

   And after we see how the cast saw the paired-down version of their lengthy reunion on twitter (more on that coming later this week), we'll be debuting the DC List: a list of sorts that I'll be doing on here, as I'll be counting down my top 5 moments from this season. First...

Well, that was a great and eventful reunion. Unlike the other SocialPulse posts we post on here, we didn't include tweets from either yours truly or from some of my fellow fans. As is custom, while I watched this reunion, I didn't do the usual obsessed, live episode tweeting that I do - I only tweeted no less than 5 or so original tweets alongside the RT's from the cast on my DCNow hub. As a blogger, I spent the majority of the time typing notes on my iPad of all the events that we saw in the hour, and this will serve as basis for the questions I will ask for a couple people who were among the lucky handful who were there to get their thoughts and insight for our AYTO Reunion Revealed article. And obviously, I can't wait to talk to them about it. That comes your way in just a few days from now.

THE DC LIST: Top 5 Moments from Are You The One? Season 1

Now, here's something new I'm launching on here. It's called the DC List: from time to time on the 'Blog, I will present a list of things in any given category on things in sports, entertainment or anything else, either a countdown or things in no particular order. And for this first installment, we will count down my Top 5 moments from this season of Are You The One?. And while there's been a lot of moments from this season for me to choose, five of them stand out. And we begin with the beginning.

- 5. The Process: All of our 20 single girls & guys were chosen for this social experiment based on the very fact that they had not been in a long-term romantic relationship, or in one's case, the fact he had gotten separated from his wife & need something new. They were all put into the extensive, rigorous process of doing an extensive assessment with a team of professional matchmakers and psychologists, plus the families, friends & exes of the contestants, to help determine their other half. Included in the process was extensive testing, in-depth interviews, filling out questionnaires and compatibility testing, all to help achieve the best possible results. And of course, after it all took place, they all moved out to Hawaii for a month, and the rest is history. This process had never before been attempted until Are You The One?, and it's a brilliant concept that thrust me into seriously watching a reality dating show for the very first time.

- 4. Ethan and Amber: Out of all the romances this season, there's no doubt the couple who's got the best shot at making this all work is the only one who's still together after it's over: Ethan & Amber. Throughout the season we got to see them that relationship blossom, but it really clicked when both kissed in the craziness of Spin the Bottle night. When the events took place with them and Kayla in episode 8, it grew them closer together. They weren't sent into the truth booth, but this was the first perfect match to be revealed when MTV.com posted it first. And when it came time at the end of the reunion, Ethan picked the right place & time to pop the question to Amber. And of course, she would say yes much to everyone's delight. As a longtime RW/Challenge fan, I've seen a lot of couples come & go, but rarely do they make it work after the show ends. But mirroring what we've seen with Lauren & Derek from season 2 of Catfish (who also successfully proposed at the reunion too), Ethan & Amber have a much better shot than most MTV couples to not only make this work short term, but also find everlasting love. And I do have to admit after watching the reunion, I'm now on Team Amber & Ethan.

- 3. Chris T. and Shanley: On the very first episode, we saw Chris T. and Shanley get close from the very moment they saw each other in the house. And everyone, including the house, thought that they would be the first perfect match. But the hope that they would be that first one proved to be unsuccessful when their trip to the truth booth brought up a No Match message on the monitor. Even with them staying together after that no match trip and jeopardizing the group's shot at the million early on, it was clear this was the most popular of all the couples on this season among both the cast and socially on twitter. But as we saw at the reunion this week, the revelations of what happened when Chris T. cheated on what would ultimately be his perfect match, along with the distance of him being in Hampton Roads and her in Indianapolis, led to them cutting ties with each other. And this leads to...

- 2. Shanley vs. Simone: No season of any MTV reality show would be complete without a huge blowup, and while we saw a good number of fights on the season and then on the reunion, the biggest one was spread out over two episodes. In this case, already mad that Chranley had continued to be super-close after they weren't confirmed as a perfect match, and with the group's chances of winning the money at stake, Simone decided to put Chris T. and Paige in the truth booth much to everyone's delight, but not to Shanley. And when the booth confirmed Chris & Paige as a match, unlike the first perfect match, Simone & everyone was celebrating, while Shanley was left in tears. While Chris & Paige were stunned back in the booth, Shanley and Simone got into a heated argument that riled up emotions in the house that we didn't see much up until that point. This began at the end of episode 6 and boiled over into episode 7, where there were vases and other things that were broken, and all the group had to do their best to restrain both of them. Like other fights, it's as real as you can get.

- 1. Mission Impossible...Mission Accomplished: This was the moment everyone wanted when this all began, but early on only few thought that the group could go 10 for 10. And as the season rolled on, I was worried that the drama that ensued in the house would hamper their hopes. But I knew deep inside so many people including me were rooting for them to win the $1 million, and they did, and closed this deal early. We saw early on that they were all over the place when it came to pairing up, and they were in deep trouble after their 4th matchup being stuck at two matches. But the next week when they were given a double chance in the truth booth, when Dillan & Coleysia became the first match and got 5 matches at the halfway Matchup, Week 5 was the shot in the arm they needed. Last week, we talked about the strategy that eventually decided this deal when knowing they had gotten an increasing amount of matches and having three confirmed, they kept pairing up with the same couples who they felt were matches and figure out who's not. As we saw in the reunion, it was Ryan who kept track in his journal of who went in, who got paired up, who won challenges and other things. It was them coming together to work as a team to not necessarily get their perfect match but to win the money that ultimately resulted in victory. In much the same way when CT won his first Challenge last year, I can't think of a more popular & beloved group of winners of an MTV reality show than this dream team. And you can't think of a better season one cast than these people.
