I've just returned from the usually big trip I make to Las Vegas that I have every year or so, and obviously I enjoyed it if the pics on my DC IG and on DCNOW are any proof. But I'm glad to be back on the blog grind to bring you this DC SocialPulse diary of Episode 4 of Are You The One? Three. And if Vegas is proof, fortunes can rapidly change in an eye blink, which is exactly what the Ohana in Hawaii have been through after three episodes.
Last week amidst my DC Vegas preparations, the house had to deal with the week 2 blackout at the matchup that cost them $250,000 and obviously with the tears and frustration they took the loss hard. However, the players had a hangover from that bad night as they still can't separate from their non matches for the sake of the team, and we saw Kiki finally but temporarily get over Devin by making a play for Hannah's guy Chuck, which causes a riff. But it's staying together for most of the group that led the house to take notice of that shadiness, despite a matchup bounce back.
This week, we see the same thing from last week of non-matches keeping on hooking up and, just as it was last year, preventing the house from trying to sweep away the 10 for 10 table. The house does everything they can to let off some much needed steam, but a blow-up among two of the girls at the Truth Booth and then a Match-Up meltdown with another proves that some will crack under the pressure of love and money. Plus, we get to see Magic Mike do his thing once again along with a first-ever nighttime getaway date as well.

So, this week we saw just about the same thing as we saw last year at this time: couples who are confirmed as not a match still staying together and keeping on hooking up, much to some and our's dismay. We saw a blow-up among the two blonde ladies of the house in Britni and Hannah, who each hooked up with Chuck, get into words at the Truth Booth. And we had another event happen at the Match-Up when Rashida got into tears and had to abort the rest of the Ceremony. And oh, the group lost a light to go back to two lights at the patio...things are bleak for the Ohana.
With the Vegas trip already done and dusted, it means I will be recapping both this week's and last week's episodes for you later this weekend on DC WRAP. But, let's digress to family stuff...
If you were with us for our AYTO3 preview back in August, we began that post with an update on MTV Trifecta personalities' offseason happenings, and there's was plenty of talk of babies and engagement rings all over the place. Now, you can add to that three pieces of life-changing news for three Real World & Challenge alums that came about this week, which includes a follow-up to our ExtraTime piece from last week.
In our EP3 'Pulse, we told you about Real World & Challenge fan fave Devyn Simone's newest venture of helping online daters find romance on TLC's Love at First Swipe. Now after the fall sampler this month of that show with Clinton Kelly which begins for real in January, she's now the latest from her Brooklyn cast to take herself off the bachelorette list.

Second, there's McKenzie Coburn from Real World Back to New Orleans, who also got engaged too. Five years ago in the Big Easy, we saw Mac & her drunk alter ego Mary a good many times, and then joined Knight, Jemmye & Preston when Team NOLA made their Challenge debut a couple years later on BOTS 2. Now, Starfish can lay claim to the first from her cast to get engaged, when she and her longtime boyfriend made it official last week. Again, Instagram's reaction...

So, this week we saw just about the same thing as we saw last year at this time: couples who are confirmed as not a match still staying together and keeping on hooking up, much to some and our's dismay. We saw a blow-up among the two blonde ladies of the house in Britni and Hannah, who each hooked up with Chuck, get into words at the Truth Booth. And we had another event happen at the Match-Up when Rashida got into tears and had to abort the rest of the Ceremony. And oh, the group lost a light to go back to two lights at the patio...things are bleak for the Ohana.
With the Vegas trip already done and dusted, it means I will be recapping both this week's and last week's episodes for you later this weekend on DC WRAP. But, let's digress to family stuff...

THREE LIFE-CHANGERS
If you were with us for our AYTO3 preview back in August, we began that post with an update on MTV Trifecta personalities' offseason happenings, and there's was plenty of talk of babies and engagement rings all over the place. Now, you can add to that three pieces of life-changing news for three Real World & Challenge alums that came about this week, which includes a follow-up to our ExtraTime piece from last week.

Last year, Chet and Sarah got engaged and then got married and now it's Dev who's the latest to say yes to the proposal question from her boyfriend. Ironically enough, the proposal gave a reference to her two Challenge finals appearances where she trekked all the way to the top of a mountain to be given that question. Here's how her fellow MTV family reacted to her news...

Aside from Marie & Robb and Latoya & Swift, there was what we saw with Laura Waller being all over Trey. The Nebraska redhead and the Baltimore boy were flirtatious, not only during that stay in the Caribbean, but also when they went to Turkey for that BOTS 2 Challenge. And we told you here last year of them not needing Exes 2 to becoming amicable again, including her inviting Mr. 11:11 to a holiday house party in Omaha.
And on Wednesday, a Twitter selfie picture revealed that baby bump to everyone along with the baby's name of Kodie. And fellow Nebraskan and RW vet Tyrie also gave congrats to her and later revealed that he's also expecting a baby to come in February. This extended family is getting bigger around here.
