Last week saw the spotlight turn to the female challenger who took five years off to start a family which will soon welcome a third kid to her football household, as Theresa swept into power in the game where she is, in effect, a rookie trying to dust off that playbook she last wrote in en route to the Exes 2 final. It came after the season's first real test of who can handle a key element in any Challenge final of a tough test of endurance, and which exposed flaws in strong teams. And with her and Jay in power, they then ruffled the feathers of the teams when, Ashley was put in to face Killa Kam... and the elimination queen came out of that with a gold skull in hand.
At night's end, it was the choice by the agents to put Cory's partner in and costing them that had us talking, and this week the fallout from that blindside now places the target on Theresa & Jay, but we cannot forget about how the ladder had such a strong rookie season last year in taking down a beast of a competitor in CT. The week's challenge sees the players have to face their fears once again: a few weeks after having to endure hanging tough above ground, they now have to hang off of a moving helicopter in an aerial takedown that, in the end, will show who is able to handle being above that chilly water. And the man who has a tendency for some drama decides to initiate some... just before the latest elimination which is quite literally one that's en fuego.
After the jump, it's the real-life version of the frowned upon practice in boxing and MMA of an fighter ducking and not wanting to go all in and other matters, on the DCBLOG SocialPulse of Week 6 of The Challenge Double Agents. Mr. Loco offering a parting shot after getting beaten up by Leroy when he successfully risked it all for the skull in a fiery men's elimination battle to say the least -- the same one that he won during that aforementioned Exes 2 season where Theresa was her partner in that final in Norway. That capped off a night where the men were in the spotlight: Devin stirring the pot during the postgame festivities, and a daily challenge where all but one of the male players held onto the hanging balls in the helicopter... and earning the wrath of TJ Lavin when they didn't even try to make a move there except for one.

As you saw above at the top, this was a big week in MTV Reality: the launch of a new year of Teen Mom OG and the journey in parenthood for Challenge Nation's TM rep Cheyenne as she prepares to say hello to baby #2, plus JWOWW joining in on the Jersey Shore vacation and setting up some possible fireworks with Angelina after burying the hatchet with her replacement Deena. But the other big news this week was that all of the related deets were revealed for the next item on our 2021 MTV calendar -- and my work will soon double from one show to two.
Season 4 of Floribama Shore will debut the last week of February, as the cast - and the new mommy to be Nilsa - will be taking their antics out of the state of Florida for the first time and into two new locales for the price of one, just as what we're having with their Jersey counterparts in Vegas. Of course we'll have that covered wall-to-wall for you then... plus before our season preview, the next edition of Before They Were MTV Stars will focus in on one of those crazies and the first time we saw them on the channel... you may be familiar with that person if you watch this show.
But for the time being at least, coming up some remembrance from the other big name absence from this Challenge season on her beloved companion, plus if you watched a show that aired opposite Double Agents on Hump Day you might have spotted someone familiar dancing under a costume. But we'll leave you with another sporting sight: last weekend saw Conor McGregor get knocked out by Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 in Fight Island, and an interested spectator was one-half of the Jogan bromance.
