Johnny Bananas found himself at the heart of last week's events as, first, an inspirational friend of his representative from his charity, Special Olympics, came by to offer support for the Champs team and him as they squeaked by the Stars team in a foosball match. But just as it was earlier this year, the rivalry between the six-time champion and his greatest nemesis, Wes, once again resurfaced as team disunity emerged again in Wes being named MVP and Bananas going into elimination, and him dominating Riff Raff in the arena.
This week with the money looming, the attention turns to something old school: a lake, a pole and swimming for everyone. In a sneak preview of what's coming up, the vendetta of one player leads to a surprising MVP choice, plus as one alliance tries to keep themselves afloat, another makes a big gamble to try and take out one of the strong competitors remaining. And if you thought the tense vote that took place a week or so before was something, wait until you find out what happens at deliberations: a blindside and a surprise.

So, the Champs just squeak by the Stars yet again in that sprint, splash and dash with a pole to keep the perfect challenge mark in hand by just :10 seconds, while on this night sees a female main event at the last UFC event of 2017, Michelle Waterson took out Aneesa as expected in their cage match. And someone who might be in line for top Star of the season could be Justina Valentine after what we've seen from her the past couple weeks, and who knows she could become a Challenge regular.
Two weeks ago tonight, the buzz surrounding a Chicago club night with several members of this Vendettas cast and other Challenge alumni was stolen with one social media announcement that became viral in the MTV community: Cory announcing his entry into parenthood in co-parenting with his Rivals III crush Cheyenne and her baby Ryder K. Wharton. One couple who we're sure has given him advice on how to handle being a dad is also the royal couple of the show Chey got her start on, Are You The One?, and on Christmas Day they revealed some rather huge news.
After last week's AYTO Season 6 Reunion, we told you about Amber & Ethan Diamond from Season 1 marking the 3rd birthday of their baby girl Scarlett with an adorable Instagram pic of them marking that big day with her. Them being a perfect match, husband & wife and parents have made them the foremost example for everyone who comes onto AYTO of what every couple should be. But in the week since, things have gotten just as better as you can possibly get, and fitting for the magic of the holidays, with a picture they posted on Instagram below, they announced the best news of all.
Amber captioned below, "You guessed it!! Santa left us something a little EXTRA special this year! Excited to welcome BABY DIAMOND no.2 June 2018! (It’s about time, huh?) #babydiamond2." And Ethan added, "Here we have the last official family Christmas photo as 3 Karats... This time next year, we will be 4! We would like everyone to help welcome our next addition to the Diamond family, coming June 2018!!! 👨👩👧👦🤰🏻💎😁 #christmasmagic #summerbaby #family #babybump #babyonboard #moretocome #thediamonds #fourofakind"
Amber and Ethan aren't the only ones on Team MTV to reveal baby news over the holidays: last week, Jersey Shore's Ronnie Margo and his girl revealed a baby bump and posted on IG, "Thank you to everyone who has been supportive with advice & encouragement. People keep saying becoming a parent is the part of life. I’ve been blessed enough to have SOO MANY best parts of my life #NotSureIfThatMakesSense 🤔I couldn’t be more excited to be taking this next step in my life!"
And just last night and just a few days later of being branded a Christmas babu, the jack of all trades and longtime MTV staple Rob Dyrdek and wife Bryiana welcomed their second kid, Nala Ryan as Rob captioned, "She is an angel from heaven. She is absolute perfection. She is our princess. She is Nala Ryan Dyrdek . So thankful for the strength of my amazing wife and grateful for our growing family." As always, all our congrats go out to all of them on this magical news.
