MTV Reality WRAP: Siesta Key - Prenups, a Party, and a Yacht Video

It is the Memorial Day weekend -- the spiritual start of summer in the United States and the first weekend of the old normal in over a year. And in the Floridian town of Sarasota, the weather is not only getting up there into the 90's, but thunder and rain will also sadly spoil many barbecues. But, we are the cure for your summertime blues if you happen to be rained out there as we bring you into its suburb beach town of Siesta Key as Season 4 of the titular MTV show is underway.

As it was for Season 3 a year ago, last week's second episode saw a housewarming involving Juliette... but it's a far cry from when she and Kelsey opened their new house to everyone and the drama that came out of that ill-fated party. But here, it was her new man Sam christening his new millionaire's crib, but the choice of his girlfriend inviting over Kels added more to their growing feud. There was also more tension simmering with her and Chloe (and with others in the clique) after a relapse in spreading rumors about the model as she has been pledging to better herself. Also at that housewarming, Brandon got to meet Camilla after what he went through last year... but the object of the biggest affection came when Sam invited his ex Jordana to commission a portrait painting of Jules that cost just pocket change: $10,000.

Now, the focus turns to the one who is starting the process of readying herself for the biggest day of her life, and there's also a new music video featuring her ex. We'll have those and more ahead as DCBLOG wraps up Episode 3 of Siesta Key with talk of a prenup and a party on the boat just to come here...

EPISODE 3 ▪ "Here's the Thing with the Prenup…"

⛵ "MALIBU" - If you remember Season 2 two years back, there was a music video where Brandon invited Madisson to co-star in it and it sparked talk of a possible rekindling of things, but that didn't come to be. But even with the new life having to fit responsibilities of being a father, he still is pursuing music, and he invited the Key crew to a yacht to film the music video for "Malibu."


πŸ“ PRENUP TALK - Its official dictionary definition reads, "an agreement made by a couple before they marry concerning the ownership of their respective assets should the marriage fail." That talk of a prenuptial agreement, or prenup for short, is on the minds of Madisson as she prepares to say "I do" to Ish... and since the news that stunned us last year her relationship with Ish has been on the minds of her parents and especially her dad, who she talks to a week after Ish talked to him. And at fun places like those that will be packed this weekend, Maddy discusses that with Kelsey & her boyfriend Max.



πŸ’ ENGAGEMENT PARTY & BG DRAMA - For this week's Key party, Madisson invites them and everyone beachside to mark her engagement with the old boss man, as everyone comes over to mark the first OG member of the clique to sport a ring. But as their relationship is flourishing in their world, another is obviously on the rocks: Brandon & Camilla.


πŸ™…‍♀️ CHLOE'S A NO-GO - Also at the party - and something that we told you on here, Sam reveals to everyone that he spent money out of his own pocket to bring them to a private island for a few weeks' vacation in the Caribbean. Everyone will be headed down there next week, but there will be one notable no show when we arrive in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: given the uneasiness that's been going on with her and the rest of the clique, Chloe tells the group that she will not be flying down with them to Siesta Island in an effort to keep her mental health in check and to focus her energies on her projects. But before that, while on a separate yacht ride from the BG video shoot, Chloe resolves the blowup that took place with Joe at Amanda's screening party...
