MTV Reality WRAP: A Double Shot at Love with Pauly & Vinny - A Prank & A Hookup

Welcome back... in time for the 100+ degree heat that epitomizes what makes the city the capital of all things wild, Las Vegas is slowly reopening. It is also the host city for Season 2 of A Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D. and Vinny, as Jersey Shore's take on love now takes center stage in the aftermath of Angelina's wedding night gone bad.

Previously in Sin City, the bromance opened up shop in their new digs in a posh penthouse on the Strip, as six of those who most impressed them during last year's quest for love earned a second chance to live it up. But B-Lashes, Derynn, Marissa, Maria and Suzi decided to also bring along three newbies into the mix in friends of the Beast Coast Squad -- Antonio, Brandon and Nicky for the fun. But their entrance paled in comparison with that of the girl Pauly rejected in last season's last cab ceremony, as Nikki arrived in grand style and picked up where she left off.

With the returning stars and their new friends in place, now comes Pauly & Vinny having to make amends with all of them... but it wouldn't be a Jersey Shore show without a prank and a one-night stand. We'll recap Episode 2 after the break to get you prepared for Episode 3 in a few hours' time...

SEASON 2 EP. 2 - Top Moments

❤️ NEWBIE INITIATION: Fittingly as the bachelors' new show debuts tonight, we begin with a prank... and of course, no Jersey Shore-related series would be complete without that. And what is that time-honored tradition? It's those who are new to this world getting a warm welcome via a prank. As everyone prepares to get to work for the Drai's Nightclub where Pauly works at, Pauly and Vinny decide to play a joke on Antonio, Brandon and Nicky... and the clip below doesn't do justice: eventually the newbies strip down and get the rookie treatment when their butts get waxed.


❤️ MAKING MOVES: What happened last year has given Maria and Nikki a second chance to get it right with Vinny and Pauly. While they are hanging at the pool area at Flamingo (next door to Cromwell), the guys take aside their exes... or at least each other's exes, before Nikki goes up to Pauly and Maria goes up to Vinny, all as they try to squash things after the tough end to both of their campaigns last season.


❤️ THE HOOK-UP: What's the old saying? "Never Fall in Love at the Jersey Shore"?  Well, no one got to apply that vision to the laws in place that what happens in Vegas should remain in Nevada. It's an unspoken rule that hooking up with a fellow roommate in any MTV house is always frowned upon. And it's when the roomies are having their summer cuffing season in the club hat they are getting close to one another. There's Nicky & Suzi getting flirty, while Antonio is writing down his number to the locals with no idea that he has a girl back home. And then there's Brandon & Marissa, who then decide to take it to the next level: under the covers & in the dark. The stars aren't happy...
