It's Real World Wednesday, and tonight is an all-new episode of Real World Ex-Plosion. And over the past week RW fans have been talking a bit about the events of last week's episode, seeing a roommate deal with a pregnancy & leaving San Francisco to fly back home. Plus, there was the infidelity that came along with a roommate's ex being brought along for a guys' night out, and the only roommate of LGBT origin dealing with her girlfriend and her friends coming out. And of course, we saw another appearance from that Doug guy once again.
From the exes moving in to threesomes to real-life situations, we've seen so much happen throughout this season in San Francisco, it might be hard to keep up with all of it, but luckily enough it's safe to say this is the shot in the arm this reality TV pioneer exactly needed. And I've been enjoying it, with fans coming back to the show and others being introduced to it by way of the twist.
And this week's episode promises to see even more drama take place with three of the love interests getting into some drama. And to set you up for what's happening tonight, time once again to hear you what you have on your mind with the 4th edition of Fan's View.

As we've been doing here throughout the season, we've been involving the fans more into the conversation than ever before on DCBLOG, from including their tweets in our SocialPulse diaries to expanding my fan chats from just the season-ending Reunion to also covering the After Shows during the season. The second set of After Shows were taped back on February 6th in Los Angeles (while I was getting into Olympic fever), and was the 2nd time the cast got together since filming ended. And the third instance will take place this week in New York as they will be doing the Reunion and some segments for the always-entertaining Clip Show as well. Even some of their fellow alumni are in Los Angeles right now for the After Show and promo stuff.
Last week, we had the third installment of the RW Ex-Plosion After Show which delved into Brian getting into trouble, Lauren getting pregnant, Ari & Ash, and, yes, Doug appearing again. And just as I did for the first set of After Shows earlier this season and our two previous Reunion Revealed posts, I have scoured the social-sphere to find fans from the SoCal area to talk about what they saw, what we saw and what we didn't see, and get their thoughts on the big storylines too.
And after some searching, this is who I found: Eric Ceballos. He was in the audience for last week's After Show (and a second one which you'll see sometime in the next few episodes), and he is also an actor and activist (more on that at the end of this post). Here is his view on last week's talk around the sofa with Nessy and the storylines from last week's big episode.

DC: What was the atmosphere in the studio like?
Eric: The atmosphere was fun! All of the audience were BIG fans & the cast was supper calm, cool and collected! They're all so nice. It wasn't some HUGE set, the stage was right by our feet so it was a small, intimate setting.

DC: How did everyone look like in person? And who do you think were the better looking cast members?
Eric: Ah that's honestly hard to say. I actually made a comment that day about how this is the best looking cast MTV has had in a long time & I got the whole audience pumped up...they all agreed LOL but I think Jenny looks the most different, she's even more gorgeous in person than she is on TV, flawless. Jamie looked beautiful.... as always!

DC: In reading tweets from those in the audience, the taping process was long. Tell us more about it, and if they showed the episodes and/or footage in advance there.
- Eric: Yeah we worked a good 8+ hours. There were flat screens all around the studio that played all the episodes of the real world, so we got to watch everything coming up AND we watched with the cast who was seeing it for the first time so we got to see them squirm a bit haha

DC: What was it like watching from the roommates from a distance? Did you meet them?
- Eric: It was cool, I'm a fan of Jamie and Tom so seeing them in person was really exciting. In between takes, the cast and audience would use the same restrooms so we got to get up, stretch, and talk a little bit in between takes. I however, am an actor and entrepreneur so I talked to Jamie and Tom and gave them my anti suicide bracelets which Jamie loves because she's really into helping people finding a positive body image and stuff like that so she actually requested to meet me personally after filming but we didn't have any time afterwards. But since, we've exchanged info via social media and you can now see Jay, Jamie and Thomas wearing my anti suicide bracelets in their twitter pictures. I will hopefully be working with them three in the future, I got them on board of some big organizations that I work with with that are really interested in having them & they've helped me out a lot...mostly Jay. Stay tuned and you'll see :)

DC: Considering the drama in the house that we've seen throughout the season, what was the tension like among the cast?

- Eric: The tension wasn't THAT bad but there was some awkwardness, most definitely. Watching the faces of the cast when certain things were played was interesting lol there were a few heated arguments but they got settled quickly. Overall, you can tell this cast genuinely liked each other and you can tell they've matured since taping those episodes and have had time to reflect

DC: What are your thoughts on the season so far? What's been your favorite moment(s) so far?- Eric: I absolutely love this season. It's so different than any other season, in every way. My favorite moment so far was Arielle coming to terms with her sexual preference and the way she dresses and how her roommates were willing to open their eyes to the subject of the LBGT community and how open minded they became. This wasn't a favorite moment of mine but JAY and the strength he showed after his mom passed away....I can't tell you enough how inspiring that was. You can tell he was raised well and I know his family/Mom is proud. Jay is my boy

DC: What's your thoughts on the twist of the roommates' exes moving into the house? And if you were in the position they were in, how would you handle it?- Eric: That still blows my mind. MTV definitely there them for a loop, they had no idea what was coming...they were completely blind sided! I honestly don't think I could've done it...it would be such an uncomfortable environment. I'd be on the show to leave the drama of my life back home, so to have all the drama come back to you and
LIVE WITH YOU would be a total buzz kill

DC: They started by talking about Brian and his infidelity. What's your thoughts on that?
- Eric: I didn't like Brian at first but after watching the rest of the season and seeing him in person...he's just mis-understood. I really like him now. I probably would've done the same thing...I mean being set up, put stuck in a house with a girl you love knowing she had a friends with benfits in the house...I'd probably get jealous and hook up with girls when I went out as well. At that point, Jenny and Brian didn't make it too clear where they stood as a couple. Love + Alcohol = issues lol

DC: How about of Jenny and her & the roommates' responses to the guys' behavior?
- Eric:
they all had a reason to be mad I guess, I mean...as soon as the exes came in, the cast decided to clean up their act and made it clear that they either want to work on their relationship with their exes OR completely cut ties. I think Jenny had high hopes that her and Brian were going to work on stuff, so when Brian kisses another girl...Jenny was pissed. I'd be too. At that point though, everyone was still in shock, emotions were high...

DC: What's your thoughts on the new footage of the other guys having fun? And the ladies' reaction?
- Eric: I think it's all simple fun, like I said if your on MTV, have cameras on you and are at a place with a lot of alcohol....everyone will act out a bit and the cast IS going to get male and female attention either way. The guys simply got caught up in the moment, I think...there was no severe making out sessions with randoms or anything, just simple kisses and dancing. But like I said, most of the girls felt that the men were going to be committed so I'm sure seeing the boys hanging out with other girls took a blow to their self-esteems. At the after-show, while filmimg...watching Jamie seeing Tom talking to another girl got her a little squirmish and bothered her a bit but they have this natural attraction that you have to witness in person. Even through the tough things they watched, Jamie and Tom were holding hands or Jamie would have her hand on Tom's knee. They are a real cute couple. Team Jamie and Tom

11. Then they talked about Lauren and her pregnancy. What's your thoughts on it? Do you think she made the right choice to leave?
- Eric:
I held my breath throughout that conversation lol it's so intense and I give Corey and Lauren a round of applause for handling this so well on national TV. I definitely think it was right for her to leave, to have her privacy and weigh her options.

DC: How about of Cory and his reaction in the house & response to this situation?
- Eric:
Corey acted out a little bit, I mean I'd be upset too. I think he was in disbelief at first but he apologized to her on TV and at the after-show. He's been through something similar before so it brought up bad memories for him. I understand

DC: She didn't elaborate on what happened to her pregnancy, but in your opinion what do you think happened?
- Eric:
I hate this question lol I don't want to invade her privacy and speak on something I know nothing about, but I believe she got an abortion but I do not judge. I wish her all the best. She's a sweetheart and a strong girl

DC: What's your thoughts on Arielle & Ashley, of their relationship & their sex life? And of Ari's dance moves?
- Eric:
That was the funnest part of the after-show. Arielle and Ashley have such a cute relationship and I loved Ari's dance moves! She did "The Carlton dance" referring to Carlton from the fresh prince of Bel air lol but that didnt make the show and as for their sex life...they are very confident in what they want and what they like, that's really cool! I'm an open book so I would've shared my sex stories too. Another thing that didn't make the after-show was the host nessa asking Jamie and Tom about their sex life and they were really embarrassed and kind of coy about it. Tom simply replied "I dont know we just, we like, we just have the regular kind of sex" which made the whole audience laugh. It was really funny. Its refreshing to see a simple, humble dude who isn't lying and bragging like "Oh yeah. I'm a macho man, I like sex in every way, I'm so so experienced, look at me" you know? He didn't feel the need to show off or impress

DC: What was your reaction to seeing Nessa bring out Doug? And what's your thoughts on him?

- Eric: I was actually the first person to call it! I shouted out loud from the audience, "is the special guest gonna be Doug??" And in between takes I even whispered to Jay "Is Doug the special guest??!" But the cast didn't have a clue. I think Doug's a nice guy who got unlucky... maybe we would've seen more of him if the exes didn't come to the house. But he's a cool guy! He's a DJ in real life...I chatted with him for awhile, nice guy.

DC: What was it like watching the final edited product & how a lot was edited out? And was there anything we didn't see in the final cut? (I.e. stories, other things)
- Eric: The final edited cut was fun to watch, it was nice reliving that day and seeing it all come together. They did edit out a part of Arielles dance like I said before and the Jamie and Tom sex talk. I think that was about it...well, no, they did edit out me chiming in and talking/asking questions but they did keep the casts responses to my questions.

DC: How do you think Nessa did as host, and do you watch Girl Code or listen to her on radio? And if you had to pick, would you choose her or someone else to host it?
- Eric: I love Nessa. I do watch girl code and guy code...she's hilarious and she was so professional and totally did her thing! She kept everything light and fun and if anyone else could host I would pick Chet Cannon...an ex-real worlder and thats simply because I was a fan of his season and he's hilarious
DC: Has your perception of the roommates changed, both from watching the episodes & being at the after show?
- Eric: Oh most definitely. I was really surprised at how chill and cool Corey is, I expected him to be a bit more loud and in your face but he's totally respectful and calm. I guess the muacles made me think he'd be over the top cocky but hes a great guy. Also, out of them all...Brian won me over. I seen a side to him that the fans don't see, he's super nice and relaxed and respectful. I thought he was going to be this cocky, in your face, macho man who was gonna be really moody. But he's really a cool dude, like super chill.

DC: How was the overall experience of being in the audience?
- Eric: I loved it. I loved the cast. I made some new friends. Whatsup Jay, Jamie and Tom! Lol and just overall the casting for the audience and the show itself, down to the exes and the host...was pure perfection.

DC: What are you looking forward to the rest of this season? And who's been your favorite roommates?
- Eric: I'm looking forward to Jamie and Tom going through hard times, over coming them and proving to the world how strong their relationship is :) I also can't wait to see Corey and Brian clash over Jenny haha it sounds cliche but I like the whole cast, mainly the originals. I love all of them...except that drunk girl who got really belligerent and out of line when she drank. I'm kinda glad she was voted out

And that is that. No need for me to retype the post-question epilogue from the previous Fan's View posts, other than a big thanks to Eric for providing me his great input on the latest After Show. And since he was also in the audience for another After Show that was taped on the very same day which you'll see in the near future, you can bet you will hear about that from him once again here on DCBLOG. And in fact, Eric has asked me to talk to him about that, and we'll have his thoughts of After Show #4 coming up on here then. For now, follow him at @EricC_Official.
In addition, Eric is very passionate about anti-suicide awareness, similar to what we saw with Nate and his Living Memoir project during RW Back to San Diego. Last year, Eric launched the Cali Misfits Collection, a clothing and accessory line designed to help raise awareness of an issue that affects many young people, with proceeds from sales going to organizations to help spread the word. Log on to calimisfitcollection.weebly.com for information on how you can help, which in addition to the bracelets also includes apparel, Legends Never Die t-shirts and accessories.
And as you saw above, Eric is planning to work with some of the cast to help in the efforts, and we've included a pic at the bottom of this post of Tom, Jamie and Jay wearing those bracelets he gave to them at the taping of those After Shows.

Now in closing, this week MTV is taping two reunion shows, and it's for the two shows I have been following greatly since January. In addition to the RW Ex-Plosion Reunion in New York, meanwhile out in Los Angeles, this weekend they are taping the Are You The One? Reunion...and that means, it'll be double the fun on here. Shortly before the season finale of both shows, I'll be approaching fans who'll be at those reunions, and if I'm lucky enough they'll be providing the Fan's View of it coming up at the end of the season. So, if you're going to either one of those shows, be sure to jot down some notes when you get home from them; you know I'll be waiting to hear from you and provide you the platform to talk about it on here. And I'll have the contact details in the next edition of Fan's View.
As for now, DCBLOG & @DC408dxtr on Twitter is where my coverage of Real World Ex-Plosion and Are You The One? lives, with twitter alerts to interviews, articles and conversations with the cast, our SocialPulse diaries, extensive blog coverage, and live tweeting of episodes. As usual, I'll be live tweeting tonight's episode (PT) as the drama builds in the city with the Jenny/Brian saga continues, the Jamie/Tom/Hailey triangle gets more complicated and Jay/Jenna get into some drama. And ahead of that, DC SocialPulse will look at last night's episode of Are You The One? as the drama between of the castmates reaches emotional levels. Watch for it coming up in a few hours from now.
For now, thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed both this post and this season of Real World Ex-Plosion so far. And until we blog again later tonight, have fun and enjoy tonight's episode.
