Last week, episode 3 of Rivals III saw Amanda & Nelson get themselves into a sticky situation in replacing Averey & Leroy, a very sexual second mission, and Ashley's alter ego follow her from the Bay Area to Mexico. And then in Sin City, things blew up with a physical fight, a love triangle reaches a result for one of the two girls getting close to Dylan, and Sabrina's music.
As the focus now is on our preview of Are You The One? Season 4 coming during the long Memorial Day Weekend, we'll be scaling back somewhat in this Wrap. But ahead, we'll look at three key storylines from last week in the Trifecta, the Winners' List, a Fantasy League update and fan reaction. Afterwards on ExtraTime, which NFL player has aligned himself with a top veteran team? That, and the musical side of one of last season's Bloodlines, is coming up on DC WRAP.
THINGS TO KNOW
Just three things to discuss in this wrap, and we'll only be discussing the biggest stories to come out of both of last week's episodes. This doesn't include a key story from The Challenge, which we will discuss separately after the fantasy scores.● AN AWKWARDLY SEXUAL CHALLENGE: After what seems to be a long first episode - in essence a two-parter, episode 3 sees the most awkward mission we've had in some time when the teams are forced to get a bit sexual in doing "Dirty Laundry." They are forced to thrust a bit on the beach and on a pool on a platform to uncover numbers and put shirts with the corresponding digits on a rack in the fastest time. I had some laughs seeing all of these teams go all in out in public view, at least on a beach, and most especially seeing Ashley moan. It was also interesting to see all these teams have to work together in what was an awkward mission, which turns out to be all for naught as though teams AYTO did impress here, as well as Wes & Nany, it won't count as there's no Jungle.
● ASHLEY GOES CRAZY: For Ashley, she has seem to come out of her shell a bit after seeing her for only a quarter of her original RW season, being evicted for house behavior prior to the exes moving in. So far, she's been helping out Cory in competition as best she can, but last week we saw her alter ego return in "Smashley." On the house's first night out at the club, Ashley tells Sarah and Tony that she doesn't like being an outsider in seeing all these people that have been doing this for some time, and being a rookie is bringing back the insecurities she's had. Then, she gets played when her hookup, Jamie, kisses Nicole in front of her, then goes off on him and threatens to go after Nany's cousin. Cory shows worry for his partner, who then goes on a blowout with Simone and Jessica.
● FIGHT CLUB: At the Gold Spike, there's been a lot of drama involving pretty much the whole Real World house, save for perhaps Sabrina. So, it seems almost inevitable that the bickering eventually would turn physical, and that's what happened last week with Jenna and CeeJai. They have gotten into it over race, homosexuality, Austin and cheap tips, and for the straw that broke the camel's back, Jenna was unsure about her relationship with Dylan. When she gets home and Dione & Sabrina told her to go to bed, CeeJai decides to go HAM on Jenna. The loud back & forth then sees Jenna make her way towards CeeJai, who in turn pushes her. She then brought her to the ground, and knowing their lesson from what happened up in Portland, security comes into the loft to quickly intervene and separate the two. They are then brought up to the principal's office, aka the production area in what they call "Gotham City," and producers ask them if they would start their feud again, and both say that they would not, and both were allowed back into the loft with no additional punishment. They got away, just barely, from being kicked out just before the finish line.

● ASHLEY: For someone who we barely got to know in San Francisco two years ago, it is no surprise that Ashley has made headlines on Rivals III and has lasted longer, episode wise, than her original Real World season. It's no surprise that she has the Fantasy League lead at the quarter pole at 115 points, including scoring 65 points in Episode 3 for all that transpired last week, two weeks after notching 50 in the premiere for her session with Jamie. While this might derail the hopes for Cory to go from 2nd to 1st when this season ends, Ashley is a favorite to become a Challenge regular for the drama aspect, as well as competition wise.
● SABRINA: When the dust settled on this week's Real World, it became clear who that castmate who's relatively drama free, and that would be the singer. While everyone else made headlines, and maybe aside from that fling with the kangaroo, Sabrina sat back for most of this season. And when the spotlight shone on her this week, she made the noise with what she does best, her music. By taking care of her mission of writing and recording a song and then listening to it on the radio after it was mixed down, this mission was a breeze for her.

WHO ARE THESE NEWBIES?
AMANDA & NELSON
Now, with the addition of Amanda and Nelson to this cast to replace Averey & Leroy, you Challenge fans are asking, "Who Are These Newbies?" Here's the info on these two from Are You The One? Season 3...
● AMANDA: Coming to us from Westminster, CO just outside of Denver, Amanda came into the AYTO house looks, the smarts and lots of confidence. But it hasn't turned into luck in the relationship department, with past flings leaving her insecure and settling for sub-par guys. She's typically been the heartbreaker rather than play the role of the heartbroken, which is why she's quick to dump a guy rather than wait for him to move on. And during her season, she was involved in so much drama that it was insufficient to fit this all into this brief paragraph...that follows the description of her partner.
● NELSON: A San Marcos, TX native, Nelson is a guy's guy: athletic and one who the girls love. With drive and ambition, he wants everything and can devote time and energy needed to make it happen. However when it comes to girls, Nelly's strong focus becomes the obstacle in his quest for a girl, along with time as well when it comes to juggling school, sports and guy time and not fitting time to see a girl. In Hawaii, we saw him get angry plenty of times, from when his crush Cheyenne kissed funny guy Zak to calling out Devin for not picking Kiki at the first MC.
● WHAT GOT THEM HERE: What got Amanda and Nelson paired up was when they got into one of those fights that he got into one night and the drama she brought on afterwards.
A LOOK BACK...
AMANDA'S EVENTFUL DEBUT
Needless to say, Amanda made quite a mark on last week's episode in going off on just about everyone on the getaway dinner and then back home, but's it's just a taste of what happened the first time we saw her on MTV: last year on Season 3 of Are You The One?. The main storyline of last fall was puppet-master Devin and his relationship with Kiki, but there was also drama brewing with most of the other castmates (maybe with the exception of Tyler and Zak).
From the very first night in the Hawaii house, Amanda became close with Long Island stripper Mike and both saw everything in each other in being the ideal mate, and and they were the first couple to go into the Boom Boom Room and get it on. The very next week after she fell for her dance moves, they got burned by the money-losing Blackout, and Mike admitted to having difficulty to get away from her for the sake of the game, and stayed together at other times in the house. As it turned out, it wasn't the end with the both of them...more on that later.
There was what happened at the first Match-Up when after she was chosen by Devin over her, Amanda got into it with Kiki and that escalated into words between the two of them. But it was minuscule compared to what happened a week after losing $250,000, where Amanda got into words with host Ryan Devlin when he asked her about how she was dealing with her heartache, things got ugly. She told him that though they're not a match by science, she wouldn't agree with it, and when the host went deep to ask the difference between "relationship" and "chemistry" was, she mustered, "I would like to see you live in a house and have a connection with someone and be told you’re not a match with them." R-Dev called her behavior "stupid" and warned her to "be careful," while Devin called them hypocrites and everyone went off on her. It actually got so intense, that Amanda told Trifecta Insider and RHAP co-host Ali Lasher on Twitter that production had to be halted temporarily as the crew have had enough with her. And that takes us back to square one.
Well after the blackout, Amanda and Mike stayed together in the house, and there was very little progress in the game situation as Mike began to pursue other options, including Kayla and Stacey, and Amanda did otherwise with a few others. It led to the double finale last November, where Mike began to re-pursue Kayla to see if he's her match, then hooking up with Amanda once again and then kissing Kayla. After a challenge, Mike went to Amanda to tell her of what happened, and she gets furious at him for cheating even though she was clearly drunk as she began picking fights to mess with him. She tapped him on the face with a cup, then hit him with a pillow and pulled on his bed sheets while calling him "trash," which led Mike to get angry and confront her to make her stop, and when she continued, he grabbed her by the next and threw her across the bed, leaving her in tears. Production took Mike aside afterwards and ultimately he decides to leave and left the house divided.
In the aftermath of that fight, as we brought you in the 'Pulse of the Bloodlines premiere last year, Amanda went onto Instagram and told her side of the story: "After watching the finale, I feel extremely embarrassed and remorseful for my behavior. It was completely disgusting and out of control. I would give anything to take back what happened. I provoked Mike and the situation was blown way out of proportion on television. I want everyone to know I fought for Mike to stay. I told production the following day it wasn't a big deal and that we equally had a part in what happened. With alcohol and high emotions we both made mistakes that night. I take more blame than Mike because I know it wouldn't have happened if I didn't continuously push him to his breaking point. I'm working on being a better person and that's really all I can say. I can't erase or take it back, I can only learn and progress forward into becoming the best woman I can be. I'm sorry to all the fans of AYTO and more importantly I'm sorry to @mikecrescenzo. ❤️ I'm happy and thankful we can be friends and stick together through this crazy journey!!!!!"
Mike, likewise, went to Twitter to offer his thoughts after the finale as well: "Just want to say I understand how I may come off to the public, but I love women, Amanda, and my #ohana family. I have nothing but love for everyone and if nothing else I hope you don't look at me different. #embarrassment doesn't come close 2 how I am feeling watching myself act in this way.. Once again im so sorry for my actions no matter the situation no man should put their hands on a woman. Does nothing but help reflect on the past and help me As a person in the future. Wish the producers of the show would have taken half of your opinions into consideration. By no means do I condone by behavior but sending Me home really hurt. So much love for you all. Stay tuned for the last episode."
It was the first time we've seen a fight like this escalate on Are You The One? - something that we've seen before on The Challenge and Real World; and if the Season 4 trailer is an indication it won't be the last. And this was only part of a finale that I saw as much better than what we saw on the last Challenge, and explains the gist of the kind of eventful first season Amanda had in the Trifecta.

A BILL IS ON TEAM SARAH
As summer arrives this weekend for many, the focus of this sports fan will turn to, among others, the NBA Finals, golf, soccer's Euro 2016 and a special Centennial Copa America in the USA, and the Rio Olympics, and DCBLOG is planning a second Summer of Sports series with special focus to the Games in Brazil. But though my focus is on the broader sports scene, we are also aware that you all are awaiting NFL training camp as well as the announcement of three new Super Bowl host cities (Atlanta, Miami and Los Angeles), and wanted to share you an interesting antidote that emerged on Twitter this past week.
An NFL player who has had quite a checkered career is Rickie Incognito, who has been fined and suspended many times for violent play both at college at Nebraska and then in the league, first with the Rams and then with the Dolphins. From fighting, spitting and hitting from behind to off-field problems and what happened with him & Miami teammate Jonathan Martin - being suspended and sending the team's playoff hopes in 2013 after a strong start spiraling downward as a result, it's been quite a ride for Incognito, who is now in his second stint with the Buffalo Bills and is now the guidance of the equally emotional and controversial coach, Rex Ryan.
On Twitter last week, Incognito revealed his alliance on this Rivals III season when he was asked by a fan and fantasy expert about him and a Challenge vet. And this also caught the attention of one of the two Challengers who has screwed over the vet in the past.
Well after the blackout, Amanda and Mike stayed together in the house, and there was very little progress in the game situation as Mike began to pursue other options, including Kayla and Stacey, and Amanda did otherwise with a few others. It led to the double finale last November, where Mike began to re-pursue Kayla to see if he's her match, then hooking up with Amanda once again and then kissing Kayla. After a challenge, Mike went to Amanda to tell her of what happened, and she gets furious at him for cheating even though she was clearly drunk as she began picking fights to mess with him. She tapped him on the face with a cup, then hit him with a pillow and pulled on his bed sheets while calling him "trash," which led Mike to get angry and confront her to make her stop, and when she continued, he grabbed her by the next and threw her across the bed, leaving her in tears. Production took Mike aside afterwards and ultimately he decides to leave and left the house divided.
In the aftermath of that fight, as we brought you in the 'Pulse of the Bloodlines premiere last year, Amanda went onto Instagram and told her side of the story: "After watching the finale, I feel extremely embarrassed and remorseful for my behavior. It was completely disgusting and out of control. I would give anything to take back what happened. I provoked Mike and the situation was blown way out of proportion on television. I want everyone to know I fought for Mike to stay. I told production the following day it wasn't a big deal and that we equally had a part in what happened. With alcohol and high emotions we both made mistakes that night. I take more blame than Mike because I know it wouldn't have happened if I didn't continuously push him to his breaking point. I'm working on being a better person and that's really all I can say. I can't erase or take it back, I can only learn and progress forward into becoming the best woman I can be. I'm sorry to all the fans of AYTO and more importantly I'm sorry to @mikecrescenzo. ❤️ I'm happy and thankful we can be friends and stick together through this crazy journey!!!!!"
Mike, likewise, went to Twitter to offer his thoughts after the finale as well: "Just want to say I understand how I may come off to the public, but I love women, Amanda, and my #ohana family. I have nothing but love for everyone and if nothing else I hope you don't look at me different. #embarrassment doesn't come close 2 how I am feeling watching myself act in this way.. Once again im so sorry for my actions no matter the situation no man should put their hands on a woman. Does nothing but help reflect on the past and help me As a person in the future. Wish the producers of the show would have taken half of your opinions into consideration. By no means do I condone by behavior but sending Me home really hurt. So much love for you all. It was the first time we've seen a fight like this escalate on Are You The One? - something that we've seen before on The Challenge and Real World; and if the Season 4 trailer is an indication it won't be the last. And this was only part of a finale that I saw as much better than what we saw on the last Challenge, and explains the gist of the kind of eventful first season Amanda had in the Trifecta.

KELLYANNE'S BLOODLINE SINGER
Last season, KellyAnne returned to The Challenge after a 5-year absence, and she brought along her athletic cousin Anthony to Turkey. But while he has a sporty side to him having played hockey, competing in a Spartan Race (my brother in law will do one of those this summer) and being a Jets fan, if you give him a mic at a karaoke bar chances are he will serenade the whole room. One night, as proof in this Twitter pic, he went to a Broadway talent competition to sing for the very first time in public, and came up on top. And over the weekend, Anthony shared a link to a DropBox where he posted five songs (plus that holiday classic "White Christmas") featuring this talent of his. And through the magic of having uncovered his YouTube page, he did a cover of "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban, a track called "In Your Eyes," and very fitting for the upcoming patriotic holiday - a tribute to the Armed Forces called "You're Never Far" and of course the national anthem.

Finally, another update of an ExtraTime story we brought you on here a couple weeks ago, and then updated back late on Sunday night. We told you the story .
However, things have taken a turn since we brought you that update after the Billboard Music Awards. And on Instagram, Nia updated his status while posting a picture of him in the hospital:
"Got a call that Jake was admitted into the hospital today. Breaks my heart to even see him suffering more than he already has. I told him I don't care how bad things seem to get, he is NOT allowed to give up or lose his optimism. I could care less what a doctor says, what a test result reads or whatever the hell kind of curveball his AIDS and Leukemia tries to throw at him. None of that stuff matters. Jake is a fighter. And now that he has me and YOU GUYS as his teammates there is no doubt in my mind that we can and WILL continue to win his battle. There is so much power in prayer, and great power in numbers too. If you wish to continue to make monetary donations, the #gofundme link is still in my bio. If you can't or don't feel comfortable sending money, that is ok! Please just send your prayers and positive energy his way. It's truly needed and appreciated just as much! Plus, I know that the lord I serve will always make a way. I love you guys so much for holding me down since that day we raised enough money to get him off the streets. He is still doing ok, earning a little money on his own when he isn't too sick to work, and sleeping peacefully in the same motel room you guys provided for him. Hoping to get my friend out of this cold hospital bed and back home soon. Like I said, I told him he isn't quitting on my watch...and I don't care if he thinks I'm annoying or not lmao.
