A Rose City Reunion of Romance

Are You The One and Ex On The Beach have been on the air since 2014 -- the former was launched in the U.S. on the heels of Teen Mom (for which an alum joins the family next week), while the ladder debuted on MTV's international fleet overseas and premiered in America this past spring on the back of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. And there, alums from both these series gathered together for a weekend reunion that brought together friends, frenemies and alumni together to relive that experience of living in the same house for a few days.
The first one took place in Portland, Oregon - hometown of one of those who was part of MTV Reality's biggest Cinderella underdog story in years after the first U.S. version of what's described as "the ultimate relations*** show." That reunion was so successful that they thought about doing it once again... this time with those who are now part of the family of this love experiment of trying to see if they can find their perfect match in paradise in the newbies of AYTO Season 7.
This is the story of its sequel: the MTV All-Star Weekend of Love, this time going down out east in the state of Connecticut.
For the first of this summer's two reunions of love, Joe from AYTO Season 6 and Ex On The Beach (as OG Taylor's ex) rented a house in the city where staying weird is just a fact of life, and asked ten of those who, together, went from one light to begin their last matchup to lighting all eleven and staved off any blackouts to win seven figures.
There, Joe invited Anthony, Audrey, Clinton, Diandra, Ethan, Geles, Jada, Malcolm, Nurys and Uche to mark a year since they lived in the same mansion in New Orleans where they definitely felt the love in the Big Easy. And they were joined by four of those who he lived with on the EOTB house - Paulie, Marco, Andre and Derrick H.; his girlfriend Mikala from AYTO Season 4, and her castmate from that season - Prosper.
For their second reunion, it brought them to the East Coast and to Connecticut. While the exact cast of characters weren't the same as it was out west, some of those who began the summer in Portland came to the countryside of the Farmington Valley and the quaint town of Avon, outside of Hartford, for the back-end of their summer of love. Audrey, Didi, Ethan, Geles, Joe, Jada, Malcolm, Nurys and Uche got back together along with Derrick, Marco, Mikala and P.Muna as they again got to
Joining them for this reunion - which also combined as an initiation for the newest members of Team MTV to the crew, were the man who saved the Season 6 cast with his strategy that broke the bank, Keith; the girl who was linked to him throughout the season, Alexis; the other couple who has stayed together from last fall, Kareem & Alivia; and one-half of the only Truth Booth match last year - New Englander Nicole. And they were joined by seven from the Season 7 Season of Fate: Andrew, Brett, Daniel, Jasmine, Kwasi, Tevin and Zak, as well as one of the exes from EOTB, Chelsko - who was DJ Chris' ex.
Like what they got to do the first time out, our group of lovers had the chance to enjoy some quality time together, including partying at the Mohegan Sun resort - the largest casino complex of its kind anywhere. Since the cast also has a musical background, two of them got a chance to film a couple music videos: one by Chelsko and the other by Malcolm - aka Mackem Drummer. And as you'd suspect, there are cameos from their MTV castmates.
