Last week, Kortni was at the center of the attention in the house: the looming Logan drama finally came to a head, her squashing her beef with Candace, and her finally getting the results of her pregnancy test, which came up negative... signifying that she is not pregnant. And while Aimee came home after being sick for a week, Jeremiah finally had reason to finally be able to seal the deal with a girl... only for that to come crashing down by way of Codi's snoring next to him in his room.
And if you thought what we saw last week was something, then it certainly makes you prepared for what this week has to offer down in PCB. After the events of what went down last week, Kortni's negative test gives reason for the roommates to do what they do best: throw a party on the beach with friends. However, mixed emotions about a pregnancy that wasn't for the wild child reach a boiling point. For a relationship that had its big moment earlier in the summer, could things possibly reach an end for Candace & Gator Jay? And one of the housemates receives devastating news.

In this site's season 1 review of Floribama Shore before this season began, we made mention of the fact that this new iteration of the Shore franchise down in the Panhandle felt more realer and relatable than that of their Jersey counterparts. We surely saw that with this week's emotional roller coaster: Candace breaking down over Gator Jay, Kortni's revelation of suffering a miscarriage, and Jeremiah receiving the news of his grandpa passing way... the same thing happened with one of Vinny's relatives just last night on the vacation. Understandably, Candace, Kortni and Jeremiah were overcome by tears... and it's why Rolling Stone and Vice Magazine agree that it has that old-school Real World feel having these genuine people and feelings. Quite an episode.
Ahead here on Saturday, we'll turn to The Challenge, as a Final Reckoning looms for a few teams in the redemption house - with one resorting to what they did best earlier this year - and a food contest awaits the main competitors... watch out for plenty of puking scenes like what we've had in PCB. Plus, we'll have another look at a backyard battle that was featured here last year, and its latest installment seeing underdogs have their day in the sun. Talk to you then, friends.
