Last week, another key alliance and comprised of two underdogs - Hunter and Cory - were forced into squaring off in the Presidio, and in a close photo finish it's the AYTO upstart who prevailed. The remaining players then took their talents to the sea as they took part in host TJ Lavin's favorite challenge of trivia. Tony and Camila were the last ones standing in that contest, but then they would find themselves in a dirty and compromising position as they came home from a night out.
It's that not-so-secret kiss on the bus ride back home that becomes the buzz of the house, as he begins to cope with what he did that may alter the relationships he has back home. Also this week, a physically demanding elimination battle requires more that simply the strength of those chosen as it also pays ode to perhaps the most famous Challenge moment ever. But amidst all this, it something that takes with the other person involved in that kiss that casts a cloud over the house.
Coming up, all of the action, reaction and interaction of this tumultuous episode, along with the Dirty 30 cast's time in New York of filming the reunion and other things too. And after the diary, ExtraTime has a fashion show to offer as we'll revisit New York Fashion Week and a challenger of this season joining fellow castmates walking up and down the runway... and we'll also have a look at when Hurricane Irma invaded Florida from the view of an MTV alum who calls FLA home.
All of that is ahead as we bring you the 'Pulse of Week 9 of The Challenge XXX.

Briefly, last year in our first WRAP of the last Trifecta cycle - which began with Tori's ex and AYTO 3 alum Mike on Real World Bad Blood, we focused on some of the AYTO Season 4 castmates as they got to walk up and down the runway of an event at New York Fashion Week for Fall 2016. There, Tori, her perfect match Morgan, the "Wolf" Giovanni, hip-hop artist Prosper and the always charming Asaf got to become models for a night in modeling clothing for The Crown Couture at the world's only non-European major fashion week, for which this year's installment just took place this past week in the Big Apple.

HURRICANE IRMA WITH J.J.
As everyone knows by now, weather has been in the news the past few weeks, first with Hurricane Harvey leaving the city of Houston behind in the water, and then followed by Hurricane Irma causing damage in Florida and the Caribbean. Americans have been helping out those affected by these tragedies in record numbers, from the Houston Texans' JJ Watt's fundraising effort garnering over $37 million, to this past week's Hand in Hand telethon which aired on MTV and all broadcast networks.
A city that was largely spared from the damage was Tampa Bay, home to both Challenger Nicole and Are You The One? original John Jacobs. And as those in Florida's Bay Area were evacuating, in his usual fashion JJ took to the streets to interview those at a local gas station before the hurricane made landfall. The video of that is below.

Well after sort of brightening the mood with those bits of ExtraTime, we can now take a moment to gather ourselves, reset and prepare to cover Week 9 of this Challenge in-depth on the WRAP coming up tomorrow - or later today for you east coast folks as we post this late on this Sunday night, Sept. 17th. There, the FORUM will offer thoughts on Camila's latest outburst and more from the cast on what she did that has now seen them turn their backs on her. We'll also look at the elimination battle that confirmed a candidates for Rookie of the Year and probable first AYTO castmate to crash the vets' bash. And ExtraTime will spend time with the rest of the cast as they take New York City, and join one of the Trifecta's biggest fans as he gets the opportunity to meet his idol.
