Last weekend was eventful in many ways, and during this week's posts we'll be covering a couple of them through the eyes of Team MTV. And in this Extra installment - a prelude to the main post that we sometimes do on here to offer some relief to that, we'll be sharing with you how those on this season's Challenge cast, as well as alumni and even those outside the Trifecta bubble, saw last week's Video Music Awards and the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

Amidst this summer heat, this 'Pulse Extra is just the ice-breaker to what we have in store for you for the rest of this weekend here at DCBLOG. Tomorrow on a dedicated edition ExtraTime, we'll bring you more of the story of Team MTV's night at the MTV Video Music Awards, from the cast of The Challenge to others in the MTV family too.
