Last week in Southern California - where I was last weekend, the teams' brains, skills and endurance were put to the test as they had to solve a complicated puzzle. This prompted some to use dirty tactics to get an edge, which led Lolo Jones to ask Wes for how to handle the politics of this game. But the winner of last week was Gus Kenworthy: he opened up to Cara Maria about his much publicized decision to come out, then with his boyfriend watching won his elimination battle.
This week, it's the last regular challenge as the pros get a taste of what the champs have gone through on their way to their titles in their endurance being tested. Also, no Challenge season would be complete without a twist, and it catches them all by surprise. And at the end of yet another grueling elimination comes perhaps the most notable moment of the season: one that reminds us of who the true winners of this season are.

Endurance is what's needed to eventually go all the way in this game, and it's the Champs who prevail in the end. Once again, it's the elimination master Wes winning over Louie Vito, and a grueling battle among the girls sees Lolo Jones outlasting Ashley M. And it's afterwards where we see the true measure of what this Challenge is all about in Lolo doing a great deed in offering a helping hand to the newest Challenge champ, donating $5,000 to her charity, Facing Addiction. We'll delve more on the WRAP coming up later.

TEAM AUSTIN MEETS HIP-HOP HEAVYWEIGHTS
With Wes having now won all three of his eliminations on this season, he's now in the final with a chance at giving his charity, the American Cancer Society, a nice $50,000 check for what has to be a satisfying Champs vs. Pros season. And it's in that spirit of him being part of that renowned Real World Austin cast of a dozen years ago that segues way into this bit of ExtraTime.
One of Wes' closest friends in the world's live music capital was Nehemiah, who we saw partner up with Ginger to fill an entire drawer in their room with phone numbers from locals to invite them to the warehouse where their loft was located and have some fun. He went on to be part of a few Challenge seasons, including being on the Rookies team that won Gauntlet III in the infamous Big Easy final. And unfortunately, he had to put up with his partner Evan on that first Rivals season did in throwing a challenge that led to them being eliminated, and we would've had the Canadian on this Dirty XXX cast if not for what happened a few years earlier and him now being married to his fiance.
The group assignment that summer of 2005 saw them create a documentary film on the biggest bash in the Texas capital: the South By Southwest festival where music, pop culture and fandom all come together each March… the cast even ran into director extraordinaire Billy Bob Thornton. That has helped to develop a passion for filmmaking and music for Nehemiah post-MTV, and this has afforded him plenty of opportunities to use those skills and collaborate behind the scenes with many artists: from CeeLo Green to E-40, to a man from Compton named Ice Cube.
Recently, Nehemiah got a chance to work with Atlanta hip-hop heavyweight T.I., as well as Migos and Meek Mill as an art director for the video "Blackman" off of the rapper's latest album, the politically-influenced EP Us or Else. Shortly after, the Austin veteran was brought on by The Game and Jason Derulo to do art direction to their late 2016/early 2017 joint, "Baby You." And over a week ago, he got to direct his first music video for a local Southern California hip-hop artist.
Below is Nehemiah working with Game and Jason, and at this link is his first music video. He is not alone in working on sets of music videos and movie, and is a Challenge veteran and part of a memorable Real World story.
