Welcome again to DC SocialPulse and to Episode 9 of Are You The One? as the drama and tension among 20 great people increases and the chances to share in MTV's biggest prize decreases.

   Last week, we saw the drama continue as Kayla & Ryan get into a huge argument that then led to the house turning on her when she revealed a secret that could hinder Amber & Ethan, plus slime and good news in the match department. And we also brought you the cast's attempt to emulate Ellen Degeneres' famous twitter-breaking selfie and other events from their reunion in LA.

   This week, the cast heads to the beach for a White Party and they let loose and enjoy themselves. However, in the latest love triangle in the house, John may have to come to terms with Jacy's increasing feelings for Scali. There's also a beach challenge where the couples will get down and dirty, with sand that is. And after garnering their best number yet in the matchup, will the group get even closer to the big prize?

My View...

To my thoughts now. While I'm tabling a full season wrap up for sometime after the season and during the upcoming Challenge: Free Agents, it's safe to say that everything is coming together now for the 20 singles who came to the island looking for love - people who I've become great friends with in the social world (and the largest MTV cast in which I've completed the cycle in interacting with every single castmate). And now after going an emotional roller coaster throughout their stay in the islands, they now stand on the cusp of MTV history. No MTV reality show (not even The Challenge) has given away a $1 million total prize purse, and next week could be when all the chips fall into place.

   With the group getting eight perfect matches in this week's matchup, and the remaining couples strategically coupling up in consecutive weeks, now all they just need is to swap two of the couples, and the folks can get set to hand out twenty $50,000 paychecks to everyone. I really liked how all of them have decided that instead of randomly coupling up, they all decided to use the pairs they got together with last week knowing they're in the drivers seat towards the money.

   We've got three perfect couples now in Coleysia & Dillan, Chris T. & Paige (whether they'd like it or not) and now Wes & Kayla. There's also two matches we know thanks to MTV.com revealing it in Ethan & Amber and Joey & Brittany, but those two pairs haven't gone to the truth booth yet to confirm that and to join those three in the Honeymoon Suite. For me, it might be hard to keep up with who picks who because both this is simply a large cast and I've become friendly with everyone. That's why I've not chosen who should go to the booth or track who picks who in the matchup,

   From the eight beams they've got in hand, reading those tweets of who should switch those two remaining couples to give them the ten needed to close this deal, it appears that the ones involve Scali, Jacy, John and Ashleigh. This week it was Jacy & Scali and John & Ashleigh. And while I don't normally voice opinions on here, next week they should switch, with Jacy & John and Scali & Ashleigh. I feel it's the strategic move of just switching up two of these couples to help give this group the win.

   All season long, all of these 20 people have been competing against and with one another for the attention of others in Hawaii, and of course we have been seeing a lot of drama involving all of these people at one time or another. But at the same time, they've been competing as an entire team with a mission to ultimately get together with their perfect match and see if they can pull off this large task that's been right there since the start. I agree with Adam that they've got this in the bag, and Simone will be more than happy to have that money in hand.

   I will make the call right now here that next week, it's gonna be game over. They should be able to get Jacy, John, Scali and Ashleigh to swap their matches from this week, and they can get the champaigne set in the kitchen like it's the champion's locker room. Next week will be the week they get this one done. And unless they extend next week's episode to 90 minutes to fit two of these or add an extra episode the week after for the 10th & final chance w/ truth booth & matchup (remember week 6's truth booth & matchup and related event were spread over two episodes), the fact that they could do this in the 9th try is now within their reach. I will be most surprised if they don't in the 9th try, and the most devastated person if they don't do it in the last chance. I hope they get this next week.

With my thoughts now out of the way, if you haven't read by now here, DCBLOG has a call out to those who attended the AYTO Reunion two weeks ago. Before it airs, perhaps as soon as a week or two from now, I'll be working my social contacts to reach out to audience members to give their thoughts for my AYTO Reunion Revealed article for which we'll post shortly after it airs.    Of course, we'll be respectful to MTV to not talk much about it until it airs, and then I'll just need to watch the reunion again after its original airing to write notes and formulate the best questions I can ask. I'll then email a questionnaire for you to fill out, and you'll have a week of when you get it in your inbox to answer as many questions as you can (which will be anywhere from 25-30 Q's and covering every aspect of the reunion & season that will & won't be seen), but answering all of them would be of great benefit to me.

   As always, the quicker you reply, the faster I'll be posting it. But to meet the exceptional demand & fan interest, I do have a deadline of Friday, APRIL 11th for fan responses to be turned in, that date is for after most international fans see the reunion, which will be over a week after it airs for the first time here.
