It is the weekend before Halloween, and before you party it up tonight in anticipation for Monday's spooky festivities and all the trick or treating, we at DCBLOG have this week's posts covering the collision taking place on Real World Bad Blood. And it's probably safe to say that our time in Seattle has now officially gotten underway as this season's big twist has finally moved into the neighborhood and into the RW house on Capitol Hill.
   Last week, the seven people of the original Seattle seven's past arrived in Portland anticipating being part of a new show, only for them to discover that they would be moving into the RW house and become the twist. They also embarked on a Road Rules-style RV trip up to Sea-Town as we learned about the histories they and the OG's harbor. And we saw a harbinger of what's ahead when Katrina got into a fight via text with sister Anna as the sister who's thousands of miles away from home has no idea that they would soon have to deal with this whole thing head-on in the Northwest.
   This week, the twist finally happens for real as Anna, Jennifer, Kassius, Kim, Orlana, Peter and Will move in and surprise the originals when they return from a fun day going to the local zoo. As expected, tensions and sparks fly in the house upon the newbies' arrival in the house, and the continential divide between Tyara and the house continues. Plus, the relationship between two roomies from when they moved into the house is rekindled, while another one is sparked along the RV ride.
   Ahead, all the action, reaction and interaction from the big twist being revealed to the original seven with double the housemates now calling the loft home, along with the other usual pre-episode vibe and the new BFF of the RW Bad Blood cast. Then on ExtraTime, we'll be heading into more sunnier weather as we'll join two Are You The One? alums as they embark on the unique experience of one of America's most unique festivals held in the middle of nowhere and where self-expression is the name of the game. And we'll also have the story of an almost-forgotten girl group who helped to blaze the trail for Fifth Harmony and Little Mix.

- As we begin, please note there is explicit language in many of the tweets below, but they are kept uncensored in order to retain the heat of the moment. So if you are mature enough, please read with discretion. :-)
- Plus, if you haven't watched the episode yet, then do not proceed with reading this post. But need not worry...DCBLOG will compile all of these tweets into these posts after every episode so you won't be in the dark of how your favorites saw this all unfold.

The big reveal, some fireworks, and a trip to the zoo... Stay tuned as DCBLOG brings you the 'Pulse of Week 3 of Real World Bad Blood from Seattle.

DC WRAP: Real World Bad Blood "Not The Show You Think It Is"

BY DC CUEVA

As this DC VEGAS Weekend kicks off across my network of social media platforms here on this Saturday, this week we have an abbreviated edition of the WRAP for Week 2 of Real World Bad Blood. The Bad Blood of the original seven strangers flew to Portland this week to begin their trek up the Pacific Northwest and up the I-5 to Seattle where they will be surprising the housemates with them moving in much to the shock of the originals. This week, we had the opportunity to learn more about the histories of the castmates and their bad blood, and of course we saw the twist drop on the bad blood as they took a nice road trip through the majestic region.
   The episode Wrap, that is - the Things to Know review of the night's key moments, will be tabled over to next week's edition of the Wrap, but that doesn't mean we'll be ducking this all entirely... we'll have the results of this week's DC FORUM Polls here on this shortened edition. Afterwards, two AYTO-themed pieces of ExtraTime as an Original goes to a national political convention, while yet another AYTO baby is headed our way. Join us here next.

It's Friday and at last, we have arrived at the weekend...but not any ordinary weekend -- at least if you're yours truly. It's DC VEGAS Weekend and tomorrow the fun begins across all of my social platforms. Today, though, we have the appetizer of this week's edition of the 'Pulse of the MTV Trifecta as we bring you the social buzz surrounding Week 2 of Real World Seattle: Bad Blood.
   Last week in a two-hour premiere, the season began with the usual "Get To Know You" vibe of an old-school Real World season as excitement, anticipation and optimism took over our new group of seven strangers. In addition, we had a fight between Mike and Robbie after a family game night intended to bring the group together didn't turn out that way, and Maserobbiee had a meltdown that saw him in tears. We also saw the relative outsider of the house, Tyara, get close with Theo from the very beginning as they became the first in the house to hook up. And we got to scratch the surface of the backgrounds these roommates have which has brought them here for one reason.
   This week, it's Episode 3 and the attention turns to learning more about the histories that these original seven roommates have with seven people who know a thing or two about them. It's the broken relationships they have that put them on edge when they have inklings that people from their pasts may visit the house very soon. And as it turns out, they are right: down the way in Portland, the seven new roommates gather up for the first time to believe that they are going on a new show, only that they are the twist to the season and embark on a Road Rules-style road trip full of fun and adventure... all ahead of the collision that's about to happen.
   Coming up, all the action, reaction and interaction of Episode 3 as well as the week that was. Along with Real World buzz, this includes posts with old- and new-school of the new kid of the Trifecta, two signs of things coming for us in the new year, and the big news that took place while we were focused either on Real World or on the debate. And afterwards on ExtraTime, we have a special treat for you on this Vegas weekend as we'll have the finished product of a track that became big last season...at least to those who called Downtown Las Vegas home.

Broken relationships, a prank, a road trip and much more... Join In for the 'Pulse of this week in Real World Bad Blood, coming up.

DC WRAP: Real World Seattle: Bad Blood - The Premiere

BY DC CUEVA
@DC408Dxtr / @DC408DxNow

As we prepare for tonight's big twist and yours truly is in the countdown to being in Sin City in around 70 hours from now, welcome on back to DCBLOG as wrap up the first act of Real World Seattle: Bad Blood. Last week saw Season 32 of this reality TV pioneer begin its season with more than the usual pleasantries of the cast moving into their new house and getting to know each other in their new city.
   The two-hour "Double Shot" premiere saw the drama take over the house as Robbie and Mike engage in the season's first fight, and Magic Mike also get close to Jordan just as he did with Amanda in the AYTO house last year. Plus, Tyara made quite an impression as the difficulty of living with six complete strangers saw her isolate herself from the rest of the house, with the sole exception of Theo, which she became attracted to and eventually hooked up. And, there was a harbinger of what's ahead as the roommates opened up about their past and eventually it will come up here in Seattle.
   Ahead, we'll have our Things to Know recap of the premiere, plus the results of our DC FORUM Polls conducted on my twitter handle, @DC408Dxtr, on premiere night. Afterwards on ExtraTime, we'll join the Are You The One? Season 4 cast as they take over one of the year's biggest events in pop culture: New York Fashion Week. That's all ahead next.

DC SocialPulse: Real World Seattle: Bad Blood - The Premiere

*** Advisory: DC SocialPulse contains adult language, objectionable content

It's the weekend, which means only one thing around here: DCBLOG presenting our recap of the week that was in the MTV Trifecta. And as we start anew here, welcome on in to the first edition of the 'Pulse of this new cycle as we look at the two-hour premiere of Real World Seattle: Bad Blood.
   Season 32 of TV's longest-running reality series and cable's longest-running show is now in full swing, which sees the show once again tweak its old-school recipe of seven strangers living in a house in a new city but familiar to older fans of the show as venue of Season 7 of the show back in 1998 - Seattle, WA. This time, the twist will ultimately hearken back to the first season of this new format - Ex-Plosion of two years ago, where seven other people with direct ties to this cast as exes, former friends, roommates and enemies will eventually make their way to the Pacific Northwest and move into the house.
   This week as the season kicks off, we begin with all of the usual excitement, anticipation, curiosity and optimism of the cast unlocking the keys to their new house in the diverse and vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood and getting to know one another as they begin this new phase of their lives in this great part of this country of ours. It doesn't take long for the drama to arrive as a fun, family game night turns into a tense situation for two of the guys. As you would suspect, new romances emerge as one complicates their friendship, and a sibling of one of the girls opens a wound from her past. But of course, the group has no idea that this is just the only time they'll be just a seven-person household... more roomies are on their way to Seattle.
   Ahead, all the action, reaction and interaction of this opening two-hour spell of the new Real World season - something I like to refer to as a "Double Shot." Note here that in the posts that don't involve the 14 people living in Seattle, activities are ongoing overseas for new seasons of The Challenge and Season 5 of Are You The One? as well too... or as I like to call it, "Many of our friends are on an overseas goodwill tour" to put it alternatively. And afterwards, ExtraTime will have a follow-up on a story we brought you here earlier this year when an unlikely Real World alum helped a person in need, and the remarkable tale of a man she discovered on the streets of her hometown.

As we begin to cover this new cycle, once again we'd like to welcome any of you who might have just hopped onto this site for the first time, and of course get comfortable around here. This is a DCBLOG signature feature presenting the other show that takes place concurrent to the madness of what we're seeing on TV. It's the social media interaction between cast members, alumni and fans that becomes equal to the big show as they wrap themselves around the communal viewing experience of watching themselves on TV. And we bring that to you as part of our MTV Trifecta coverage.
   Presented to you here each weekend, these unique, exclusive running diaries are specially designed, curated and pieced together by yours truly in real-time - tweet by tweet and uncensored - to bring the hookups, drama, and all else to you here. This is a service to all of you fans - both those who just want to relive the action, reaction and interaction in real time, or for the many who might not have experienced the buzz at the time of the episodes' ET airing and want to catch up in these diaries, posted to you here after it airs on MTV.
   And the 'Pulse is only part of the DCBLOG Trifecta experience, as we offer a unique perspective on the RW/Challenge franchise and the show that we saw one of the guys on this season previously, AYTO. We also offer episode Wraps, thoughtful & in-depth analysis, and ExtraTime original stories covering the drama, the people and the stories that take you beyond the hype, the headlines and the hookups to cover this world like no other. And it's presented by this long-time MTV fan who loves these shows as much as you do, and now covers them on this blog.

Now, the following are the actual tweets of the cast, alumni, fans and me as we got to see the premiere, along with some of the buildup to, and the aftermath of, premiere day, and of course the first episode.

So, join us here after the jump as we kick off a new cycle of the Trifecta and bring you the 'Pulse of the premiere of Season 32 of Real World Seattle: Bad Blood, coming up.

MTV Trifecta - Countdown to Real World Seattle: Bad Blood

BY DC CUEVA
@DC408Dxtr / @DC408DxNow

Hi, hello, what's up, and welcome back to our coverage of the ongoing story of the MTV Trifecta on DCBLOG. We hope you enjoyed your summer as we saw two interesting seasons of the shows we follow the most, as well as a grand Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro. But now, many of you are back to school & college, others are back to work after having their summer trips and we are back to work here after a fairly short offseason of sorts covering our strongest passion on this site.
   To us, there is something we surround like no other site in the blogosphere: one of television's longest running franchises of The Real World and The Challenge, and the new kid on the block of this threesome - Are You The One?. This site and its webmaster fan give this triple the affectionate name of the MTV Trifecta, and we treat this the same way networks do with the NFL: wall-to-wall coverage being covered from every angle wire-to-wire from the preseason buzz right thru the final act in several months from now - the holidays when this is all done & dusted.
   The most recent cycle of this triple crown, which began 13 months ago, saw two comebacks from a money losing blackout to salvage cash in the Hawaiian islands, a racially-infused cat fight in downtown Las Vegas, a red head win her first Challenge and a betrayal that made the Trifecta's biggest name the most hated as well. Needless to say, it was a most eventful twelve months and we very much needed a little time away - albeit just a 65-day offseason and nearly 2 months to the day after the Season 4 AYTO finale in August.

Now, our focus turns as it should to what's ahead and a new season of the O.G. of not just the Trifecta but all of MTV as well, as the Real World will have its cable record 32nd season premiering this Wednesday, October 12th with a double shot of back to back episodes. While we'll still have the show's unique storytelling and relatable people, as in the fairly recent past there will once again be a twist to this show as this season's cast will have to live with people from their past who harbor some animosity with. This is sure to bring more of the fireworks this TV original loves to bring us, which sees the show return to Seattle - host to Season 7 back in 1998, infamous for Stephen's slap on Irene.
   We are into October and as we enter this last week of the countdown to the new season, coming up we'll look ahead to Real World Seattle: Bad Blood and introduce you to the seven strangers and their soon to be roommates which they will be forced to live with, just as we saw with the Ex-Plosion couples back in San Francisco two years ago. Plus, just as we did to launch the last cycle before AYTO Season 3 last year - for which one of this season's castmates has their roots in, we'll also catch up with what's been going with some of the people of the Trifecta since the AYTO Season 4 finale.
   So, as we always like to say here, dust off your name tag, dress nicely and Join In with us after the jump as DCBLOG kicks off a new campaign of the MTV Trifecta and our preview of Real World Seattle: Bad Blood from the Pacific Northwest, coming up next.

DC FORUM: Words About DCBLOG

A Word From The Editor
BY DC CUEVA
@DC408Dxtr / @DC408DxNow

At the beginning of what would become a most eventful Summer 2016, the world lost one of the greatest in the history of not just sports but all of mankind in Muhammad Ali. When news of his death became public late on June 2nd, there was a tremendous outpouring of grief and support that fit the larger than life stature of the man they simply call The Greatest. During that emotional weekend, there were countless numbers of tributes by media, fans & the like that offered reflection and remembrance of a fighter who dazzled the world with his determination, who spoke his mind the best way he can before Parkinson's silenced him, and who became beloved long after he left the ring.
   One of those was an essay penned by the former Cassius Clay called "How I Would Like To Be Remembered," where he described himself as more than just a 3-time heavyweight champion of the world, a 1960 Olympic gold medalist, and a man who rebelled the establishment when Vietnam and civil unrest was on everyone's minds. There, Ali saw himself as one with a sense of humor, treated everyone with respect, never looked down on those inspired by him, was a helper to everyone who asked for help, stood up for what he believed in, united mankind by love and faith and, in his words, "...for being remembered only as a great boxer who became a leader and a champion of his people."
   As DCBLOG crossed a milestone of 300 posts just after 4th of July weekend, and as we kick off another cycle of our signature coverage of the MTV Trifecta, that essay got me thinking of getting something off my chest. In my opinion, I have a feeling that I'm not getting the kind of solid respect and broad exposure that this site truly deserves, even though I have devoted time, resources and energy to this site and have done a great deal of work here since this site launched three years ago. It's something that I don't do that much here in focusing the spotlight on myself - the very blogger & author of this great site, but wanted to express my thoughts here with all of you. So if you can indulge yourself in the next few moments and take the opportunity to listen to yours truly, then let's do it. Here we go...
