Last week saw the annual big-time house party take over the house as a Dominican Republic Carnival gave the group reason to get down and dirty. The tension between Alicia and Hannah boiled over as were the many love triangles in the house. Meanwhile, Hayden finally listened to what everyone in the house and us at home have been wanting him to do in moving on from Gianna for the sake of the game and see Carolina. And the group had to deal with non-matches, which even riles up host Ryan Devlin.
This week as they embark on the last third of the quest for the cash, those non-matches continue to plague the house as tension erupt in those who aren't matches continue to stand their ground and refuse to separate and threaten the group's chances at the cast. And while the girls' exes don't live to the expectations of the house when they come into town, finally things get serious between that aforementioned new couple in the house, which may end in one of those moments we've seen in the past of two words changing the course of the house's direction.
Ahead, all the action, reaction and interaction of this eighth week in the AYTO house, plus their anticipation towards a Reunion that's been taking place over the weekend down in Southern California, as well as days-after reaction to Tuesday's Invasion of The Challenge Champions. And then on ExtraTime, you'll travel with a member of last season's cast to the venue of that Challenge season and a popular vacation ground for Team MTV.

So, things are now picking up as far as the game is concerned, and for a moment the house is playing this game: Hayden and Carolina become the house's second perfect match after pairing in every matchup since the blackout. However, there's also a moment where it seems they can't play this game in Ryan Devlin once again going off on the group at that 8th matchup, but they do get out of the four zone and grab a fifth light. The questions now are these: will they get to 11 lights in two weeks? And are they peaking at the right time or is too late for them to make a charge? More on all this on the WRAP coming up later.

And now, you can add Are You The One? to that list...at least one alum, that is. The last time we heard of Stephen of Season 4 last year was of the news broken by Julia on the After Match earlier this season that she and him broke up not that long ago...that also makes our Catch-Up on all three of the couples containing those from that season in our first post of this cycle feel dated. But, with this current Challenge airing and AYTO Season 5 heading towards its conclusion, a travelogue of sorts gave us reason to share with you briefly his most recent travels on here.
Last month, Stephen flew across the Pacific to Thailand to take part in ESCAPE: A Digital Detox in Thailand, a social experiment and TV special which gave him and four other young people a chance to experience that great country for two weeks. All of this without having the aid of a smart phone or the share-worthy immediacy of social media, which also gives the five the chance to bond even more and enjoy this once-of-a-lifetime trip. It is a collaboration between a company called Dream Jobbing, a company specializing in giving individuals and companies a chance to show their experiences to a larger audience, and the Thailand Tourism Bureau.
