It's Are You The One? - Second Chances, where ten fan favorite perfect matches have arrived not in a tropical paradise, but in the backdrop of one of the world's greatest countries and one of the most renowned cities for a new game that promises to not only bring that great mix of drama and love Are You The One? is known for, but add a whole dynamic to the game that promises to again change the game. From a pair of originals whose biggest moment came three years ago this weekend, to three of those couples who had encountered heartbreak in the Caribbean, and everyone in between, there is a Second Chance coming for everyone in Melbourne, Australia.
This week, it's the premiere and the ten couples arrive down under as they compete in missions designed to test the strength of their relationship, and it doesn't come easy as each of them try to make their way to the new house, located in the fitting address of 10 Match Road. Almost off the bat, one notorious pot stirrer decides to make a play for last year's most notable player, while the man who singlehandedly turned around his cast into winners makes no hesitation in seeking control of the game. And of course, we have the usual "get to know you" among all of our couples, as well as the revealing of the several twists that promises to again turn this game on its head.
Coming up, all the action, reaction and interaction from this premiere, the week leading up to it, and more of the aftermath of that chaotic Season 5 finale. So, this game gets off to a familiar beginning of Devin becoming a headliner of sorts, as he and Rashida take first place and add $40,000 to their bank in winning the season's first challenge. We see Giovanni and Alicia become the first to hook up in this Melbourne estate, and two Season 5 pairs - Hayden & Carolina and Derrick & Casandra - be put up for elimination... with the former deciding to stay and the ladder who finished in last place this week, heading home. As I live tweeted, with them having just arrived in Australia after the heartbreak in the Dominican Republic it will be interesting to see if they and Alicia & Mike have enough energy left after what we saw over a week ago. More on the WRAP on Tuesday.

AYTO MEETS CATFISH
Briefly, this weekend marks three years to the day of two notable moments in recent MTV lore that took place on the same March 25, 2014 night: first on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry tied the knot to her second husband, U.S. Army soldier Javi Marroquin, for which we will be elaborating more on him being part of MTV's newest power couple Tuesday on the WRAP. And then, a cast of 20 originals solidified their place in MTV history when the Are You The One? Season 1 cast won $1 million. In fact last night, I posted an Instagram video of that moment of Ryan Devlin telling them they had gone 10 for 10 and won. Wednesday night not only saw the return of not only Shanley & Adam to our screens in them being on AYTO Second Chances, but also a third member of that legendary cast...but not exactly the way she intended.
On Wednesday in leading into the premiere of AYTO Second Chances, Ashleigh made a second MTV appearance, but this time in having her pictures being used as part of the latest scheme of fooling someone online known better as a Catfish by an online couple named Telizza and Shai, where the ladder had used Ashleigh's Instagram pictures as a way to pose as herself to another girl who had been seeing her online. MTV.com has a recap of the episode in case you've watched that, and below we've embedded a clip from the episode.
