Last week, the starting horn blew on the show's first-ever three-day final as the final six competitors - Ashley, CT, Camila, Cory, Nelson and Nicole - took off on a marathon around the Thailand coast. As it was on Free Agents, the Underdogs and Champions are partnered up in three different pairs on each of the three days and are forced to rely on each other if they want to get to the end. Day 1 saw the competitors swim in the sea and complete a puzzle, then the next day having to eat food with plenty of throwing up included, and then Day 2 seeing the teams take to a rope to balance themselves on and carry stones around, with a time-buster night challenge included.
This week sees the rest of Day 2 and the final day of this final and of this Challenge. For Camila and Cory, they are faced with having to get reenergized after struggles in the middle leg and after having had a strong attraction all season long. For Ashley, Nelson and Nicole, them making their first final sees them feel the pressure to try and make it to the end and prove themselves that they have earned their way for a chance at the money. And for CT, it's an opportunity to enhance a legacy that's seen him become one of the show's top competitors, and a victory will mean so much more. And with one last night in the shelter, a 10-mile kayak trip and a few more checkpoints, the reward will be handsomely earned in the Asian twilight.
Coming up, all the action, reaction and interaction from the finale, the leadup to Challenge Tuesday and the aftermath of it all. This also includes some of the buzz from the MTV Movie Awards and the countdown to Champs vs. Pros coming up this Tuesday. And after the 'Pulse, what happens when a past Challenge champ gets to become a crocodile hunter? Well compared to last year, a relatively uneventful final with no one quitting or a Steal but with some drama in Cory & Camila's struggles and the finalists staying in the Shelter, among other things. In the end, though, we get the best of both worlds thanks to this Challenge season's theme, and something to satisfy everyone both young and old.
As expected, CT gives the Champions a "W" in winning his second Challenge title and giving his son a nice early Father's Day gift. And for the Underdogs, something unexpected: it's Ashley who hits the jackpot in upsetting Camila in a wide open girl's final after Laurel's shocking early exit. Nicole grabs 3rd, while Nelson places 2nd and Cory 3rd for the guys, as everyone leaves here with money, as they should for making the end of this unpredictable season. We'll have much more on the final on an expanded, dedicated edition of the WRAP a few days from now.

FUNNY FILE: DUNBAR DOWN UNDER
As we usually do after episodes, this blogger gives those of you who follow my Twitter handle @DC408Dxtr a poll for which you can cast your votes on in reference to what we saw that night. And in the case of the finale, we gave you not one but two polls to vote on, and we'll have the results of them on that WRAP. One of them was of who you think is the biggest surprise Challenge champion ever: Ashley, Katie from the Inferno, Sarah Greyson's run to the Gauntlet crown which we looked back at earlier in this cycle, and this weekend's first ExtraTime subject.
Ten years ago this summer, Real World made it to the Southern Hemisphere for the first time when the current host country of AYTO Second Chances, Australia, welcomed season 19 to the country's largest city of Sydney, It was the last Trifecta season to have 30-minute episodes and an extended season of 20+ shows, and saw Cohutta & KellyAnne get close, Trisha push Parisa, Shauvon go home to her boyfriend, and another past DCBLOG subject, Isaac, go skinny dipping in the fish tank.
And then, there's the guy they some like to call "Dummy Bear": when we first saw Dunbar Merrill, he came to us from Mississippi as that frat guy on the outside, but inside someone who had a tough upbringing: a money laundering scandal that saw his family lose everything saw him take more responsibility for himself and his family before enrolling in the military and attending Ole Miss. If you've seen his Twitter @DunbarMerrill since last year, then you know he's a hardcore supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders and was bitterly disappointed when he didn't get the Democratic Presidential nomination and perhaps avoid what's been taking place in Washington the past 100+ days.He was that fourth individual choice we had for our second Challenge poll: he was part of the winning team on The Challenge: Cutthroat in 2010 when he joined Tyler and husband & wife Brad and Tori in the winners' circle, and they got the winners' check. No one really expected Dunbar to join those three in being a Challenge champion, considering that when we saw the last time we saw him on a Challenge on Rivals II four years ago - embodiment of his arrogant persona on there.
Well, with Australia hosting the AYTO spinoff and him in that shortlist of surprise Challenge champs, we happened to have found something you might get a kick out of. Below is of a video of him back in high school that was posted years ago on his YouTube channel where he became a crocodile hunter in the Mississippi wilderness instead of in Australia. Little did Dunbar know that he would go down under to the land of the crocodiles and Paul Hogan's old stomping grounds.
When Dunbar did get to go to Australia many years later - in addition to everything else he got to experience down under, he also got to live out everyone's fantasy: going bungee jumping. We leave you with is him crossing that item off his bucket list in the Northern Queensland city of Cairns.
