Last week, we saw flirting and politics take over when Kam and Booby got flirtatious before last week's challenge, only for that to go away when he decides to nominate her into an elimination that she would eventually lose, but also not give her a life raft after that loss in the arena. We also saw Tony get caught in the act by the magic of video playback when his hands touched the ground during that week's challenge, which resembled both a game your grandparents love to play and what became our guiltiest pleasure for 17 days a few months ago. And yes, we saw Hennessy cause much drama as Cardi B. Mania continues to sweep the social world.
This week, the tensions rise among one team after a Vendettas finalist who had plenty of those moments this year alone, one Star plots their chance to gain some revenge for being sent into elimination the first time out. All this comes as they finds themselves in a scenario of either wanting to play for themselves against playing for an entire team during a mind-bending challenge... quite literally. On the other side of the ball, the other team is in a precarious position of their own: trying to retain unity while some members of their own team actively do what they can to plot against others in what is still, mentally, a Champs vs. Stars matchup when it's about Red vs. Blue. And yes, when you have a pop-off queen in the room, anything is possible.
We'll have all the in-fighting, the action on the field and pop-off's covered with all the action, reaction and interaction to Week 3 of Champs vs. Stars coming up for you here, along with reaction to Kanye Madness among others. So, dating back to what happened with Nelson on Dirty 30, for the fourth straight overall season (and seventh in the last eight seasons going back to Bloodlines) someone is eliminated without actually being eliminated on The Challenge: this time it's Hennessy after what happened with her and Devin prior to nominations. But she is the only person who is gone from this week despite this being a guy's elimination week, with Tony Time reigning again in him winning in the arena, and the Red Team using their save option to keep Shane in the sunshine. We'll have more on all this on our first Champs vs. Stars WRAP coming up on a few days -- and keeping in that spirit...

A CHAMPS VS. STARS PLAYLIST
If you're familiar with our ExtraTime bits that ends many of our weekly episode posts, sometimes what's featured there is music. And save for Devin in collaborating with Chuck in his AYTO house, Tori's famous "Third Eye" rap battle and the feats of Hennessy's big sister Cardi B., three of the Stars have released music that's dropped in the past month to coincide with the debut of Champs vs. Stars, and a fourth dropped new joints last year.
Brooke Hogan has been a musician since 2002, having dropped her first single a few years later and last month dropped a four-song EP. For the one who lost that first elimination to Casper, post-NFL life for Arian Foster has seen him add music to his resume under the alias of Bobby Feeno. Jozea Flores dropped his debut track "Tony Montana" back in January while training for Champs vs. Stars, and Daniel Gibson - aka Booby - entered the rap arena last fall.

As we say - more on Champs vs. Pros still forthcoming this weekend, plus the drama that has gone down in South Beach hits home for the member of Team Champs… we'll share you the latest tale in Jersey Shore and The Challenge coming together. But before that, for a state that's seen a volcano and earthquakes erupt the past 24 hours - Hawaii becomes witness to our first big blow up in the Ex by the Beach pad. Meanwhile, this is a big event weekend, none more so today than May 4th - Star Wars Day with an all-night event at Disneyland earlier and Star Wars mania taking over social media on this Friday. Tomorrow, the world is invading the backyard of the one & only Big Easy for the biggest event in both his state and the sport of horse racing: the 2018 Kentucky Derby takes place on Saturday. DCNOW will have it all covered from Churchill Downs at @DC408DxNow, along with a special Cinco De Mayo DC Playlist following that.
