When we brought you Part 1 of that back on Friday night, the final four teams of Amber & CT, Cory & Kam, Kaycee & Fessy and Nany & Leroy arrived at the start line of the sixth final challenge in seven seasons where the total prize purse is $1 million... but unlike what's been the case of late there is money going to those who don't finish first: 2nd gets $100,000 while the champions will relish in $900,000 - $450k split down the middle -- 3rd and 4th will be shut out with the ladder not making it to day 2. And as is always the case for the last act of every season, this will test every aspect of what the players have learned about the past several months... endurance, puzzle skills and enduring the bitter cold.
We're almost through the first day near the Arctic Circle, and there's been a lot going down: Amber surprising everyone in taking her & CT into the lead, the first daily game being revisited for a mini challenge during the final itself, and Leroy on a mission to ride off into the sunset a champion. But at night's end, the attention is on the all-Big Brother team: Kaycee suffered a big injury, and most fingers in the fandom being pointed at Fessy's direction... and as we return here they find themselves in the hot seat as they look to salvage whatever chance they have. The rest of the field has their sights set on trying to power through exhaustion, both mentally & physically, before they reach the summit and $1 million.

And so after a long season that is somewhat better in a way to the last time we had a long one like we had three years ago, the road comes to an end on Double Agents. In a way, the fandom got exactly what they wanted after what we saw last week: the Big Brother 20 duo crashing out on Day 1 in Kaycee's injury combining with Fessy's struggles at the eating station just as Jay did on Exes 2.
In the end, we have not only worthy champions but also a legend confirmed: C.T. winning his fourth Challenge title and his second in two years -- a pretty remarkable thing for someone who waited a decade to collect that first one in Thailand on Rivals 2 with Wes. We also have our first Big Brother champ in someone unexpected in Amber B., someone who was given only a small chance to get into the winner's circle to start this, and now she beats Fessy, Paulie, Josh and Da'Vonne to be the first to go from meeting up with Julie Chen-Moonves at the start of summer to reigning victorious in front of TJ Lavin - and her smoking the checkpoints in this final was the difference maker in this win.
But while the OG's movement can celebrate one of their own winning again and this win culminating the crossover of Big Brother to MTV (which in turn helped spur Viacom and CBS to get married again), the MVP of this finale night is Leroy. Sure he does not get the Hollywood ending we all wanted, but he does have his perfect match in Kam (who with this runner-up finish should make claim that she is next in line for her first title as does Cory), one more go with Vegas roommate Nany, and something not many in Challenge Nation has: the total love and respect of everyone who's competed with him.
