Last week saw a gripping end to a season that began all the way back in August with its cast being revealed on a hot summer's weekend. Down by the Bayou and in a region that's shown a spirit of resiliency in addition to its warmth and Southern hospitality, we saw one of the most climatic and nail-biting finishes that we have ever seen to an MTV reality series -- maybe any reality series across the dial. The cast of Are You The One? Season 6, a group who affectionately call themselves the Sexy Season 6, dug deep from a unprecedented deficit any cast of that show had been in late in the season to roar all the way back from one light and one Truth Booth match to light all 11 beams and win $1 million in dramatic fashion in a historic comeback.
To mark this comeback of the year, the likely candidate for several awards on our DCBLOG Reality Debrief at the end of next week and two of AYTO's biggest alums having both a stellar 2017 and another readying to settle some unfinished business, ExtraTime would like to revisit a story we did during The Challenge XXX over the summer where Second Chances champ and the mastermind of a similar late comeback on Season 3, Devin Walker, got to team with the house's fellow resident comedian, Zak Longo, as they went into the group's Rolodex to prank some of their fellow alumni including some of the Season 5 losing squad. After that, a new update to that as they get to become their inner high school seniors for a moment and haze the Season 6 newbies with the help of Dirty 30 finalist Tori Deal.
Enjoy this bonus trip into the ExtraTime Funny File, before we offer you our traditional weekend look Inside the MTV Trifecta and the week's episodes, including last night's first part of the AYTO Season 6 Reunion, starting tomorrow.

ORIGINAL STORY: PUNK'D MEETS AYTO
From August 2017, after Devin's elimination in first Redemption

One of MTV's most famous moments came on St. Patrick's Day 2003: Hollywood big shot Ashton Kutcher and his team (including Chips star Dax Shepard) deciding to head to the home of Justin Timberlake and play a prank by telling him that his house was getting foreclosed and everything was going to be auctioned off. It occurred on the premiere episode of Punk'd, where the iconic catch phrase "You got Punk'd" was told to well-known celebrities and even Real World original Trishelle. And that moment offers the backdrop to this moment when a few on Team MTV decide to get back at some of their fellow colleagues, and it features the man who will not be making it to the end of a Trifecta season for the very first time.

If you watched Are You The One? Season 3 two years ago, you got to meet Zak Longo, a Canadian-born Italian who no doubt brought not only a slice of the north and Europe to that house in Hawaii, but also plenty of charm and humor too. In the end, he had a hand in helping in the game's final outcome: him being part of the other perfect match in that tenth & final try helping to limit the amount of options that saw the cast pull out the biggest surprise ending we've seen on that show (at least until what happened last March). Zak emerged out of that experience with a girl in blonde beauty Hannah, and they are still together nearly two years after that season was filmed (for which they and the rest of that cast were revealed two years ago this past weekend). Their adventures have seen them go to several countries outside the U.S., including walking the red carpet of the Much Music Video Awards, Canada's equivalent of the MTV VMA's.
For Zak's truest passion, it is something that has to do with holding a camera and being a filmmaker. But before Second Chances began this past spring just after the infamous Season 5 finale and reunion, he decided to call up a pal from New England to come over to his Los Angeles pad and do something to mark five seasons of this love experiment. Devin came to the rescue and once he arrived, they thought of an idea of calling up some of their fellow AYTO alumni -- both from Team Ohana and from other seasons -- about the idea of doing other reality shows that don't even exist, by using phony show titles and them pretending to be producers of those shows.
The videos below include guest appearances by not only Zak's girl, but also Devin's match and Second Chances co-winner Rashida, the always honest Southerner Ellie from Season 2, Francesca from Season 4 (who we featured in an ExtraTime post last year on her musical resume) and his rival from Australia and girl who just got heartbroken on last week's episode, Tori. And those who will be feeling the brunt of being Punk'd by Team AYTO include: Stacey and Connor from Season 3; the object of Big D's affection Kiki, her match and member of both AYTO and Real World casts, Mike; Nelson of this Challenge cast; Cameron & Mikala from Season 4, and from that losing Season 5 cast - Ozzy, Carolina, Michael, Hannah and Tyranny. Enjoy these videos below.

UPDATE: PRANKING SEXY SEASON 6

In case you missed it, yesterday we devoted our entire WRAP of last week's episodes to the homestretch of AYTO Season 6, with an in-depth look at the cast's improbable comeback. For the pure gist of this, in that last matchup ceremony #SS6 went 11 for 11 by lighting ten beams to set a series record for most lights gained in a single matchup, overcoming having just one match in the truth booth and become the first cast to win the full $1 million since Season 2 after not recording a blackout at any point during the season. And of course, there was a lot of drama on that season, much of which was revisited on the first part of last night's reunion and more to come next week.
At roughly the midway point of this season airing and just as the cast was in L.A. to film that reunion, Zak was rejoined by Tori - just off her solid rookie campaign on Dirty 30 and her close friend from Season 4, Mikala, as they did another round of prank calls. This time, they turned their focus from alumni and the Season 5 to the incumbent cast of AYTO Season 6. In typical fashion in something they refer to as "light hazing," this season's unsuspecting victims of this adults-only form of senior high school pranks are Diandra, Dimitri, Ethan, Geles, Malcolm, Michael, Nurys and Zoe, as well as Mikala's ex Cameron who also was given a call during this wave. Enjoy this two-part video below, which includes a period of long hysterical laughter, too.

Season 6 Reunion, and this weekend DCBLOG will bring you the 'Pulse of that, along with Episode 4 of both The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars and Floribama Shore.
