It's Friday the 13th - the last one of this second decade of the 21st century and where those lucky to have clear skies got to experience a full moon in the early hours of Thursday. And as you all begin to hurry up on that important holiday shopping, there are a million reasons for a dozen people from America, Britain and down under in Australia to be excited... they are the competitors who have made it past the final hurdle and into the final of The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2.

When we last left Thailand, the regular season came to an end with semifinal week - our definition on here of the last daily challenge and the final elimination before the final itself. The guys had nothing to worry about as their spots were already clinched, but the ladies were on the clock and again having to head into the water to determine who would be safely into the final and which girls had to battle it out for the final ticket. CT played a role in the outcome of that last daily despite his spot being secure, and it led to Ashley and Nany having to battle it out in a super elimination in the daytime outside of the Proving Ground... and the millionaire aced the run and puzzle to get another chance at the cash.

Ash, Cara, Paulie, Zach, Leroy, Ninja and Kam comprise a strong American team who have dominated the regular season and look to validate that status with $1 million, while Tori, CT, Jordan, Rogan and Dee make up a British team who felt depleted for most of the season but gained the newly-engaged's after they were the only two players to be turncoats. And they are about to embark on another climatic two-day final where now, they are evenly matched. As always, endurance, math and puzzles will put the Yanks and the Brits to the test, and the nature of this final examination may expose one highly-touted player with a shocking and potentially game-changing gas-out.

- @TheAllanAguirre: I broke down the Historical Relevance of what winning would mean to each competitor. Example: If Leroy is suddenly wins, you're looking at someone with 8 Elimination Wins, a 4 time finalist, and a CHAMP. A lost just has him as a guy who was on the Challenge a lot.

Mr. Thor having to clear the air at the end of what was an already chaotic first part of the final with both teams having to fight it out in the jungle carrying those gurneys, and Paulie collapsing to the ground at the end of that. As we get to cover this here now, it remains to be seen if he can have enough stamina to get through the first day of this final, let alone the second half. And will he and the Americans get back on the feet and tough it out to the million, or will the Brits' hang on to have celebrations in Stratford, Sydney, South Beach & SoCal?
