The events of the past two years has prevented us from getting to enjoy the sight of reality television's finest going through the kind of hell of seeing their ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends invade their lives. But this spring saw things finally return to normal in resuming the American take on this global franchise when three familiar MTV faces and a slew of others from around the reality world embarked on the Canary Islands. We've had the usual array of love, heartbreak and everything else that this show is known for the world over, and we can't forget Welborn Ferrene's voice to guide us through this.
Last we were there, the singles found themselves in the hot seat as the house tried to get deep into who's being truthful and who isn't... and as we rejoin matters at the villa one more time, Love Islander Ray will have to air it out about his player ways -- and not everyone will make it out alive on our last trip to the Table of Truth. The last few days in the EOTB compound means plenty of time to reflect for everybody to see where they've come from when they entered back in March to now and the summer solstice... and that will lead to the ultimate choice: the singles who came here must decide whether they will leave the Canaries with their ex next to them, with their next by their side, or just to go at it alone on the last boat.
But, be mindful of what happened the last time we were in this spot on an American EOTB season... we will let you in on why that is the case this time around, along with revealing who is the latest to go from being exes to being parents... just ahead on the final Season 5 edition of the DCBLOG Ex Pulse.

- So think like Bachelor Nation: The Challenge; America Ninja Warrior: The Challenge; 90 Day Fiancé: The Challenge… I have no inside info which networks are actually picking up this package/franchise thing but just to give examples of the RANGE that we are going to see

We are all glued to everything that reality dating shows can offer... but finding true love is just about as rare as finding a golden ticket to the Wonka Chocolate Place. Last time on Ex U.S., Georgia & Callum were the big romance at the Peak of Love that led to the franchise's first-ever engagement -- but that was a short-lived one after they left New Zealand. And of course, we all know about Angela & Nelson.
For here on Season 5, it's Kyra & David... and as she now prepares to go into battle on The Challenge: USA two weeks from tonight, things continued to flourish for her and him in the time since they filmed EOTB last year. But now, things are over for them... and he posted this on Twitter on Monday.
Please respect her privacy during this time. She was an amazing partner and I have absolutely nothing but love and respect for her and the Green family. She was the greatest friend I could ask for while coming out publicly and to my family and I will never forget that ❤️

The next time we cover Love, MTV Style here will be when a group of American and global singles will enter the Truth Booth: Season 9 of Are You The One? is slated for later in 2022 on Paramount+, and we'll be following that quest for love & money then. For the time being, ahead on our agenda is to set you up for the summer's other big event by the beach -- and it's taking place in the very same Canary Islands that just hosted this EOTB season: we'll have a first look at All-Star Shore along with zooming in on a whole new batch of global newbies... not a long time for those to clean the house for the crazies.
But as we go, we send more congrats to another Ex On The Beach pair: Cameron & Alexis of Season 3 were schooled by Devin the last time Exes Court was in session in the Shack of Secrets... and now they are the latest to be expecting in Team MTV. Here they are revealing the new kid in this IG video... and as they had their baby shower last weekend on Father's Day it's a girl -- all part of a busy week for the new dad as he also performed at the Summit of the Americas in front of the President & First Lady... it's safe to say Cam had quite the week.
