Throughout our summer in Sin City as this show has taken the mantle of being MTV's rep in summer 2020 love television, we have had a slew of special guests come by the penthouse who are no doubt familiar to the Jersey Shore fandom. It began with Mike the Situation & wife Lauren, then more surprises delivered by the prank king in Angelina leading the crew to crash her Staten Island frenemy's book signing. And last we were there, Uncle Nino got the call from Pauly to surprise Vinny to keep some company there while the DJ is away... and he crashed the son & Maria's date night, of course, and we also had another tale in the budding relationship of a housemate and a stripper.
As we join the group here for the first of what will be two visits to Vegas this weekend, there are more shenanigans in store in another prank and an offer to be one's girlfriend... and it wouldn't be a show in the Shore ecosystem without a petty argument about something small. After the jump, we'll get to indulge ourselves in all of that, plus there's a trip to the heartbreak hotel for a Challenger who first found love on MTV. And welcome to the weekend...

We've had those many arguments that the Floribama kids have had about small things, but they probably don't envision something as remote as a fountain in one's celebrity house out in Cali can spark a huge blow-up - that's the case here with Trey Songz sparking some heat in the penthouse in it putting the guys on edge on that wrap prank. And along with seeing Ginuwine in the club on their last night working, Nikki and Pauly headed off to possibly seal the deal - we'll find out more on that later.

THE POPOFF QUEEN IN HEARTBREAK HOTEL
As we see Maria get another chance at love with Vinny this summer, she is part of elite company of a show we have followed from the beginning. And it was five years ago last night that we were introduced to what would become one of MTV's most accomplished casts: the Season 3 class of Are You The One? made their debut on September 24, 2015. And upon pulling out that rabbit trick from the top hat with help from red cups and a quarter, a handful of that Ohana would go on to bigger fame on The Challenge, The Real World, Ex On The Beach, and Teen Mom... even Dr. Phil too.
After competing on War of the Worlds I last year, Amanda announced that she was welcoming a new addition to her world in a baby boy who arrived in February. And in between, the popoff queen also had a huge moment where she thought she found her perfect match: her baby shower also doubled as an engagement party as her boyfriend, a local Denver area barber named Ray, popped out an engagement ring and popped the magic question to her. But their day of going down the aisle and saying their "I do's" will not be happening... even after we get over this pandemic that's seen many a wedding plan get pushed over into the new year.
Last weekend in the style that made her a one to love/hate in Challenge Nation, Amanda decided to go in on her now ex-boyfriend when she discovered some rather fishy behavior that's taken place in these first six months of parenthood. She wrote the following on her private Facebook account, then shared it with her followers in her Instagram stories shortly afterwards along with posting two photos of Ray cheating on her, which we won't post out of respect.

“I'm not someone that EVER runs to fb to put business out there but this time I need everyone to see the truth and to hear it from my mouth, not someone else's. Ray and I are officially done and it's because he's a liar, a cheater and has a drug and alcohol problem. This is not the first time he has not come home from bingeing all weekend and not responded to me at all. It's not the first time I've caught women texting him back and forth behind my back. It's not the first time he's left my son hanging without checking on him, not even once. But it is the first time I've actually gotten pictures of him and information of him physically cheating, therefore I am finished. I've tried to fight for my family...To be forgiving...To help someone that clearly doesn't wanna change. I don't deserve to live like this.
“I have friends that work at various places and to hear he's hooking up with different women, in public, in the club/bars, is so sickening I can't even place my mind around it. I can't imagine what he's done behind closed doors. I've always asked him, do I make you happy? Are you happy? And I've always received a "yes I don't want anyone but you you're my everything. I'll change. I'll be better" answer. Never once did he tell me he wanted someone else and always denied wanting to live that party life. He told me he wanted to settle down, to be a good father, to be the man he's always wanted to be, and clearly that was a lie. He wants to live this double life and I'm done with it. He can have all the girls and the parties because all I want is my son and to be the best mom I can be. I can't let my son be raised seeing this...To see his mom cry, be manipulated, abused, disrespected. To always be disappointed when daddy doesn't come home or think about him. To know daddy chooses and prioritizes alcohol, drugs and partying over him. I refuse to let my son live that life.
“I'm not asking or reaching out for pity or "I'm sorrys" cuz that's the last thing I want. I want to let go of the truth once and for all and move forward with my life. I am a strong woman and my dad has taught me I don't need ANYONE. I have my father and my son and my close friends and that's all I need. And if you are Ray's "friends" that have encouraged and condoned his behavior...Knowing he has so much to lose and HAS already lost due to drinking and partying...Or if you're the women that secretly text him knowing he has a whole fiance and family at home, I hope you are happy. It's finally happened. Ray has lost everything. I hope y'all can take care of him cuz I'm done with it! đź’Ż GOOD LUCK AND GOOD RIDDANCE.”
Some have called it in the forums karma coming back to her, while others have sent Amanda & her baby messages of support in the week since, including obtaining a restraining order on the ex. And after posting pictures of his belongings being placed into trash bags, there will no doubt be plenty of drama ahead including a custody battle that might as well be tailor made for what we've seen many times on Teen Mom. But during this ordeal, the queen has been holding her own through this storm, and we send out best to her as she goes through these rough waters.
There is more to come from Vegas - make that two items... Sunday, we'll rejoin the Double Shot crew as they soak in their last hours in Vegas with Pauly, Vinny and friends. And if history can tell us from watching Floribama Shore, it's a good bet that things won't wrap up without some sort of fireworks going down before the group bids farewell to the chateau.
