MTV Reality WRAP: Siesta Key - Hard to Say I'm Sorry

Hello there, the summer rages on and the attention of this blogger is on opening weekend of the action in Japan. But for a moment, let's take the opportunity to focus in on drama of a different kind: Siesta Key, and Season 4 rounding towards the end of its summer portion before it turns the Wednesday night attention to the other big global sporting competition that's happening in August.

Everyone in the Floridian clique have now settled back in their familiar surroundings after a vacation unlike any other to the Caribbean, and last week saw a return bigger than those who came home from the West Indies. There, Chloe came to the door of Amanda's house and got caught up on what went down in Palm Island, and promptly gave a suggestion of trying to bring Juliette and Kelsey back together while also bringing Kels & Madisson out for some yoga on a paddleboard. The former also revealed to her parents that she's not ready to have her big wedding day, while Brandon brought the group together again -- this time for a baby shower for young Quincy.

Also last week, Max made it more official with Kelsey as he stated his intents to move in closer to the model in the Sarasota area... and that's not all for the zookeeper. We'll tell you who else is joining him for the big move, along with last ditch efforts to bring back her and Jules when we bring you the Week 11 Siesta Key WRAP coming up.

  THINGS TO KNOW
EPISODE 11 ▪ "I'm Truly,
Truly, Very, Very Sorry"

πŸ—£️ SILENCE BROKEN - Ever since what happened on the island and its morning-after aftermath, Juliette has been nowhere to be seen when she & Sam chose to take some time for themselves and leave the Caribbean a week before everyone else returned to the American mainland. And Amanda's attempts to try and talk to her came to no avail in front of Sam's house when they returned last week. Finally, Jules comes out of hiding and she first gets to talk to Madisson, and then to everyone else.

πŸ“± THE CALL - To think that if the Queen just got lost and didn't come back to this season without trying to address this, it would've been a tragedy and a bad thing on her part. But given how she's older than when we first met her, it shows a bit of maturity in realizing that what she did was uncalled for. After getting to talk to a mental health advocate about trying to keep calm in the heat of the moment, Jules decides to call up Kelsey and try to say that she's sorry for the slap.

🦎 A NEW ROOMMATE - The choice Kelsey made to room with Jules last year proved to be a bad one... but the choice she made to make Max her perfect match is proving to be a good one. And with him now moving to the Key, there comes all that comes with sharing the same house... that includes having to find the perfect animal companion. One would think that #Kax (or #Melsey, depending on who you prefer the ship be called) would get a dog or a cat... but the zookeeper has other ideas: a lizard. But if that doesn't strike a chord, then it gets better: Max also gets Kelsey a new Range Rover -- now she has something in common with my parents in owning several of these.

BEST OF EPISODE 11

As we bring you the 'Pulse of Episode 11 below, other things that happened in the Key this week included Jordana wanting to get more from Brandon after their affair on the island, and Sam making a request for Jules as they mark a year of them together.
