When we last left -- and we're still behind on our episode coverage here, the game had been turned on its head with the old-fashioned midseason twist: the pairs being split into two teams... and if you thought you've seen this before, then you have after what we saw on Battle of the Bloodlines. We also got to see another rite of any Challenge season which delighted those teachers watching after giving out those fall final exams: TJ Lavin becoming Alex Trebek but without the suit and tie as he unleashed his annual game of trivia to the players and them spinning out out of control on a wheel.
At the end of Week 11, Amber excused Nurys in elimination to add to a relatively understated champ's resume... but as we return to Argentina, Devin's team knows that they are in that mode to press that panic button, so does Nelson after seeing his Ride or Die take the next flight home. He and everyone else will be feeling the heat as they take off on the latest daily mission: a ride aboard a chopper -- or make that, a ride hanging out from that flying object. But what happens here might bring another chapter to the one pair here that were ride or dies a few years back, only to be this season's most prominent exes.

Nelly vs. Fessy II
The last time we saw Nelly and Fessy face off in elimination, it was obviously tense... below, their rematch and that chopper daily.
And as you saw up above, there was a new addition to the probable 2044 Challenge group: Jenna already looks forward to Christmastime every year for that she celebrates her birthday before we ring in the new year. And this time around, she & Zach welcomed their second kid over the winter holiday period: in the early hours of December 27th came an early birthday present for her as they welcomed Liliana Marie ♥️.
Much more Challenge coverage is ahead -- and thought we still got a couple episodes to cover before we finally get ourselves caught up, and that includes yet another Teej-bomb and another episode in "As The World Turns" starring #Jori. There is also the matter of the return of Are You The One?, as our favorite love game returns with the combination of everyone's favorite icebreaker and what we all had over the holidays collide. We'll cover all that went down in the first week of Season 9 in Spain on the debut edition of the MTV Love WRAP, tomorrow night following the NFL playoffs.
