Last week, the love triangle between John and Julia reached a climax as far as the game and science goes when their truth booth saw them emerge out a no-match. Meanwhile, Asaf and Francesca's initial romance turns up a bust when a trip to the Boom Boom Room goes up on smoke. And at a matchup where they were unchanged in the light department but was still a good result, Kaylen revealed to the house that there could be wedding bells with her and Giovanni in the planning.
This week, the love triangle involving John and Julia becomes a love square when Stephen begins to make a play for Julia and leads John to go off once again. Tori and Camille begin to set their eyes on the same guy, while we have a surprise visitor to the house that might give Christina of Season 2 a run for her money. And the pressure is on for those "golden couples" the house feels are a match as they head to the Truth Booth.
Coming up, all the action, reaction and interaction from this week in AYTO land, as well as Team MTV getting to watch one of the summer's biggest events - the BET Awards. Well, if you had money on this Season 4 cast making this game feel as easy as they are making it right now, then go ahead and collect your betting money. Yes, there's the drama going on with John, Julia and Stephen (and there's more of the guys' tirade to come on our Challenge Pulse later) and it appears we have big drama ahead for Kaylen and Giovanni after what we saw in the Week 2 Matchup. But Cameron and Mikala become the pair that notches the quickest Truth Booth match in the short history of the show (they beat Pratt & Paris from Season 2 by one week), and the house earns an additional beam to get to four on the season. And they are making this look easy as we head into the holiday break, but of course anything can happen here. We'll have more on this episode on DC WRAP coming early next week.

ZANNAH AT CANADA'S VMA'S
We're into month 2 of this summer and if you're joining us from Canada, then Happy Canada Day weekend to all of you and hope you're enjoying rocking the red and white up north. Just recently, Canadian music fans had both their annual summer kickoff bash and their own VMA's when the music & pop culture channel MUCH hosted the 2016 Much Music Video Awards, co-sponsored by iHeart Radio and held at Much's iconic street-side headquarters on Queen Street West in Toronto. Think, Canada's take on MTV's Times Square TRL studio; and once again it was a huge night in T/O.
Given that Canadian broadcast rules require networks to air decent amounts of local programming when in reality the U.S. is nearby and most networks air U.S. content most of the time to drive the profits (other than public network CBC), it also affects how music goes on Canadian radio as well. Canada's biggest artists - from Nickelback, Avril and Carly Rae Jepsen to Michael Bublé, Simple Plan and DeadMau5 - dominate radio playlists more than U.S. artists by a wide margin even though they're heavily outnumbered by their American counterparts. And it's reflective in the night's winners.
Drake took home five awards, Shawn Mendes won two, The Weeknd won got Single, Justin Beiber was Fan Fave Artist (of course), and up & comer Alessia Cara nabbed Best New Canadian Artist. Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also took awards and performed along with those Canadian winners, Hailee Steinfeld, Tegan and Sara, Hedley, James Bay and Shawn Hook. Tyler Posey, the Pretty Little Liars trio of Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale & Shay Mitchell, Sofia Carson and Ruth B joined supermodel co-host Gigi Hadid for the big show, also airing in vivid 4K as well.

Zak tweeted, "Big thanks to @Much for inviting us to the #MMVAs & everything they have done for me! 🇨🇦ians do it better. I should've won an award for best-looking girlfriend on planet earth 😍" They may have not been a scientifically-proven perfect match (though he did have a hand in the final outcome on the finale), but Zak & Hannah still being together still proves the romantic aspect of this show. And sometime during this AYTO season, we'll share with you Zak's hilarious videos right here.

That will bring to an end the AYTO portion of our 'Pulse doubleheader as we roll along with this long holiday weekend. Coming up later is the 'Pulse of Rivals III as the teams try to remember what is what from an all-night mission and an epic elimination.
