When we left them last week, the house had been divided: the guys got to enjoy a weekend to themselves, but the girls were disjointed and they went down to Tampa for a girls' weekend, where Aimee lived out her fantasy of being a real-life mermaid. And along with twerking and a letter from Logan, the attention shifted yet again to Gus and Nilsa... and for the second time this season, they locked lips amidst some sexual tension.
A person who hasn't been in the house in a while has been Jeremiah - tending to a loss in the family, and this week he returns to the beach just in time for the entire group's first out-of-town road trip. Their destination is a city that has proven to be a place where anything can and will happen - New Orleans. There, that game of cat and mouse for Panama City Beach's resident couple rolls along, while drama ignites the lady with a move named for her hometown. And for a couple who we got to know in the house, an incident with her boo thang may spell the end for her relationship back home.

New Orleans has seen plenty of Mardi Gras madness take place on its two Real World seasons and AYTO last year, and this week we saw the gang follow in what the likes of Melissa, Danny, Knight & Jemmye got to do and board a float in the French Quarter and hand out beads... we even saw Kortni show her boobs to get some too. There was also some drama in possibly seeing the last of Candace and Gator Jay when what happened with him shoving her might mean things are over, and at the end we saw Aimee go after Gus... a sign of what might go down in the summer finale.
So, October is now in full swing, and so is what we have from the MTV beat... and quite a week it's been. Our now regular pre-diary proceeding this week's Pulse duo will be up tomorrow, and included in there is night 1 of Cory's MTV takeover as he & Cheyenne join Teen Mom OG. The Pulse of this week's Challenge Final Reckoning follows as he & Devin invade South Africa as an elimination plan goes wrong, then Are You The One? as player ways and matchup mix-ups take over.
Then, after many months teasing this, we'll finally start our review of the past year & a half of our long-promised Reality Debrief - all and whatever answers has been compiled and we'll begin to churn out that two-part post starting after this week's Pulse wave. And in case you haven't seen it yet, up now is a Look Ahead at Season 2 of Ex On The Beach posted late last night with who has been casted for the sequel to the love-fest's successful first season featuring Cory.
