MTV Reality WRAP: Siesta Key - Relationships, A Yacht Ride, and a Gender Reveal

Hello and welcome to a new month, and it was on early Saturday morning, August 1st, 1981 that MTV signed on the air with a rocket, a moonman and "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles. And thirty-nine years later, it is still rocking as the pioneer of reality TV, as we at DCBLOG now bring you Inside MTV Reality where the Madness of this year's Challenge is wrapping up while the heat is on in Vegas for A Double Shot at Love. Those two things and other things are ahead, but we begin with the drama going down in Siesta Key.

What the kids love to do there in the Sarasota suburb is throw parties and spend quality time with each other -- last week was no exception as once again, the crew got to celebrate Thanksgiving with both friends and family. Madisson joined Alyssa & her boyfriend's family at the Kompo compound for a traditional get-together around the turkey, while everyone else bundled up and gathered on a table outdoors by the sands for what was not your ordinary mid-autumn's Thursday night: plenty of drama unfolded with Amanda & JJ, Kelsey & her exes, and Alyssa's parents grilling the baby daddy.

And we are not done quite yet with all of the parties taking place here in paradise: another big one is taking place at the Kingdom: the mommy-elect is about to find out if it's a boy or a girl... and we're about to get to know more Juliette's crush. We'll see you after the jump as we WRAP Episode 7 of the Siesta Key summer, plus we'll venture inside the big gender reveal... and welcome to the weekend.

SEASON 3B - Episode 7

💕 JULIETTE'S CRUSH: In the aftermath of what happened with Alex and with Robby, it seems that Jules has finally given realization to the always prevalent notion that, third time is the charm. A guy who she now sees as the charm is the one who came by the Friendsgiving extravaganza in an expensive car in her friend Sam, and he also happens to be close with Mr. Kompo... we'll let the video do more of the explaining. But things are looking up for #Jam as she is finally get over her exes.



🎈 BEFORE THE BIG DAY: With Ish spending his Thanksgiving out of Florida, last week Madisson was faced with having to either go to the Kingdom or go to Friendsgiving, and she opted for the former which turned out to be the wise choice compared to the outdoor fireworks. While there, Alyssa's and Alex's families were already starting to place their bets on who the gender of the baby is, and once again Maddy is faced with having to join the activities with the A-Team, or something else. In the end, she opts to join them, Brandon and most everyone at the mansion.



👶 THE A-TEAM'S REVEAL: And then comes the big day... understandably to avoid any drama like what's happened at the two galas there, Jules, Chloe & Amanda hop on Sam's boat for a weekend's trip on his yacht - and the girl who just broke up with JJ moves on to kissing another man on the boat. Everyone else, though, is on land at the Kingdom to find out, with the help of a plane and smoke coming out of its fumes, if Alyssa will have a boy or a girl. We'll let you see for yourself...

INSIDE THE REVEAL

As the bombshell that rocked this half of Season 3 has dramatically affected how this season has shaped up, we really didn't get to see more of what Alyssa's gender reveal was like. As we hinted to you on here back then during Ex On The Beach and after The Challenge 34 ended, it was all the way back in December around the Christmas holidays that her & Alex's big gala took place. AS THEY SAW IT: Episode 7

Other things that went down this week included Chloe's fellow Crescent co-worker, Jared's girlfriend Ashley, getting fired from her job, along with Jake returning to meet Kelsey once again and the ship that is #Jamanda having sailed for the last time. And those are also addressed in the Pulse of Episode 7 of the summer wave...







































On the topic of gender reveals, later on here we'll venture up to the Midwest to join a guy who was there when reality and drama collided for the first time, as a Laguna Beach heartthrob is about to become a dad, once again.
