Inside MTV Reality: The Siesta Key WRAP - Parties, Receipts and A Splash

We have only a few days left of this month of February (which includes a Leap Day this year), and with their wild cousins over in Floribama Shore having wrapped up an entertaining third season, after this week the drama in Siesta Key will become the focal point on our weekly episode coverage here for the rest of this winter, as the weather only heats up as does the drama.

Previously, the events of what transpired at that ill-fated housewarming for Juliette and Kelsey's house finally came to a head: the former finding out about Phone Gate finally saw her and Robby break up, and he had to face the music with Amanda which didn't turn out well. And a night of country line dancing at the saloon saw hookups with Amanda & ex JJ, and rekindled feelings for both Kels and Jared, and most especially Jules and Alex.

It seems every time we come to the Key during this season, there's another party taking place - and deservedly so as we are on the edge of Spring Break. This time, it's the birthday of the man whose crash of one party who is being celebrated at the scene of the crime, along with the man who is now an ex-boyfriend for the queen of this town. Join us after the break for those, a pregnancy scare and more on something that one castmate has that the others don't before what goes down tonight.


 THINGS TO KNOW 
EPISODE 7

● PARTY AT REBELLA: We begin with, of course, a social gathering with none other than that newly single Robby. He's now pressing on with being Juliette's ex-boyfriend after their breakup, and he gets to invite Brandon to join him and some of his friends for a party thrown by his influencer business Rebella -- and if you look closely, you might spot Corey from Big Brother 18 & Ex On The Beach (and Morgan's ex). The "white party" where everyone comes dressed in white sees plenty of the good stuff and dancing go on, but it's when Juliette decides to crash the party after taking a selfie with Brandon and friend Carson that things get awkward with her and the ex. And he brings up the screenshots Alex sent him in relation to Jules while at his new pub job across town.







● PREGNANCY SCARE: In the first of what will be at least a couple moments of this to come from this paradise this year, there is a pregnancy scare in the Key. But before we see THAT later, Madisson has been laying low as her boyfriend, former producer Ish, is on assignment up in Canada. But after talking to Chloe at a coffee shop, she goes to a local pharmacy to buy a pregnancy kit to find out if she and Ish are having a baby, all after she had her period... and she finds out that she is not pregnant.




● BIRTHDAY BOY JARED: The first time we saw Jared, it was when he came to Alex's birthday party uninvited and it became a scene straight outta Floribama. Now, he is the man who's being feted as he celebrates his birthday in the backyard of the Kompo Palace at the season's first pool party at best. Just as it has been for Alex's two b'day parties here, everyone shows up in flashy cars and in swimwear for the rager.
   But for Jared, he gets to enjoy his birthday for the first time at the mansion of his former vendetta as Kelsey gives him a birthday card, gets a toast from Alex and gets the celebratory treatment in White Claws, birthday cakes and pizza. But in the back of his mind is something that the other castmates have never had: the feeling of being married, as he and Madisson discuss his failed marriage to ex-wife Jessica, who he says that he was unprepared for it being in the military and not having enough time to spend with her. He gets a call he's been waiting all day from the ex that she will be coming over as he tears up, and we'll be seeing her visit the Key tonight.






● GOING FOR A SPLASH: Parties at Alex's mansion have been the venue for youthful moments of joy and dramatic moments of drama, whether it's the backyard pool parties or when his family host Siesta's equivalent of Oscar Night in their famous galas. It's no different for Jared's party as this will likely see the end for Brandon & Amanda to rekindle things, as him being invited to Robby's party and her making out with JJ again in the pool may spell new eras for them.
   But as we got to say last week, everything in this world revolves around Juliette and Alex... and after her friends suggested that she away from entering Kompo Land to confront him, she defies their orders to go to Jared's party anyway. There, she goes up to him to ask about what happened when he drunkenly sent the receipts to Robby at the party, all as Alyssa watches this alongside him. What goes down next only adds to how crazy this season has been.

BEST OF WEEK 7

 Juliette pushing Alex into the pool and Alyssa laughing in her face before having her top being broken headlines the top tweets from last week's episode, along with her sunglasses being broken as a result of that fight... the second one the queen has found herself in this winter. And of course, we can't forget about the King & Chloe trying to become Siesta Key's version of Kailah's Forever Petty group.

Well, as you try to recover after reading that Pulse thread above, we have not just Jared's ex coming to town, but also Alex & Chloe opening up their new bar as well. And a reminder that the last SocialPulse of this '19-20 winter cycle comes your way during this week's blog wave covering the Ex On The Peak finale... the next time you'll see our extended diaries (different than the one above) will be during Season 35 of The Challenge, and of course we'll be on top of it all then.
